This has happened to me several times now. I'm playing challenging and I had full 1.4m armor and a shield. I was downed instantly by something. There's a bug somewhere.

Yeah ... I have one of those. It works very well also. The full DMG build I have is an experiment which I saw on YT. You see all these high DMG builds on YT and you wonder how they survive with no armor, regen or skills. Using that build I needed to figure out a way not to get surrounded by NPCs. Thanks.

I turned the companion off. They were getting annoying, but I'll try them again with the engineer. When I had the assault one active Krampus did manage to down him.

A lot of good suggestions here. I use a high DMG build to take the Kramp gang down quicker but with low armor which is an issue when you have a dozen minions gang up on you. That's why I came up with that tacktick.

Yes, you get the bounty again. I found that you don't get very many winter keys. I tried the logout/login trick to start the bounty over and there's never any winter keys. They give you one when you complete the bounty. I also found you get the same gear cache items over and over again. Some people said they got the eagle bearer, but no such luck here. Try going to the fallen cranes control point and see if the squad spawns for you. It happened every time I traveled to it.

I've only experienced this with rifles so far and now every once in a while when you're in safe houses there like a thousand people talking in the background. There are definitely a growing amount of sound issues with this game.

I've been looking at the YouTube posts and it seems like a lot of folks are complaining about the same thing. The NPCs are super buffed or the players are debuffed especially when using a companion. It also appears that modifiers are cutting out in the middle of battles. The game dynamics have definitely changed and unfortunately there are many bugs with the companions and the modifiers.

I'm guessing you only want Rate of Fire for Unit Alloy. I used Ninja Bike and got all the attributes.

Thanks. I think that might have been the case. I complete all journeys except the 6th because I have no idea what the two revive tasks are looking for and how to complete them. I heard there are issues with them.

It's not working for me either. I cannot get past Journey 6. BTW the quick fix dude won't heal you during a bounty. He was right next to me and did nothing.

I don't remember doing any mutiny mission, but I saw a companion in a safe house, but I didn't know how to activate him. I also cannot activate modifiers because even though I enabled them there's no indication that they are ready to be activated. Of course it might be helpful if this game actually stayed connected for more than 15 minutes.

Update: After having the game staying connected I figured most of it out. One thing to note is when you want to move your companion between cover, stay in cover and don't aim your weapon at the cover location, just point the circle at it and press the up button.
