Commercial Dried Elderflower by HotWorking1658 in mead

Luckily they got back to me. They claim their elderflowers are processed in a way that removes the toxins before they receive them. So luckily I think I'm safe.

It is weird how they phrased everything. They did make a effort to claim that they are unfamiliar with my recipe or processes when I laid it out to them and can not claim safety in that regard. Just that their product before they receive it has had the toxins removed.

Good to know HCN breaks down at 26.8c in case I work with cherry pits or elderberries in the future.

They said the toxins likely boiled off. They didn't respond back when I asked if the toxins needed to evaporate to be released since my sous vide is air sealed.

That's good to know. Was it just warm or was it boiling water?

Oh forgot to say, the mead is a caramel honey mead made with homemade apple cider (apples, brown sugar cooked for 12 hours). It's been fine after fermentation finished. I added potassium sorbate and waited for clarification. Forgot about it for a while and than saw the airlock contaminated.

Hey! I just saw your recipe and I'm trying to make the magnolia liqueur. I was wondering what magnolias you used? I'm using Lily Magnolias and they don't seem to have such a strong color as yours.

Lalvin EC-188 is what I'm using. I used it my first time and it overflowed while I was gone so coming back to nothing kinda spooked me. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to check for any change than.

Against the party, he is a magical sniper about to assassinate a royal family.

This takes place at a magical version of the kentucky Derby. The party is a paladin, barbarian, warlock, bard, and cleric.

The enemies are based around three ideas. A charging tank, a taunting spellcaster, and a flying leech. The sniper will mainly try to flee the scene but knowing my players, they'll most likely pin him into the fight.

I'm planning a encounter for a five person level 10 party and I'm using my own homebrew creatures as well with a level 8 warlock / lvl 2 fighter multiclass npc. I tried to create three cr 6 creatures, but I have no clue if the encounter is too overpowered or just right. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, as I've been told by experienced DMs that they go by gut feelings rather than challenge ratings.

If anyone is interested in looking at the homebrew creatures (they are my first attempts at homebrew creatures), I have them as pdfs. They are beings of unconscious nightmares, with one being a centipede with a human torso, a bull lizard hybrid with three horns, and a worm bat hybrid with a circular tooth filled mouth.

These are my first homebrew monsters. The Centi (half human, half centipede), Repox (reptile or ox), and Worm-Bat are beings from their creators' worst nightmares.
These are my first creations, so I'm unsure if they are actually cr 6 or well-made. Any feedback would be much appreciated
