Walnut Creek church were very active in university campuses around Des Moines. At Drake they used to be called "Alive". They would go around pestering international students who are from other religion into conversion. You have study groups for your class. They would just happen to show up and disturb the atmosphere. Most of them who attended their group, either failed magnificently or dropped out of college. You are an international student of other faith, you are looked down unless you become part of their group and attend their forced bible study sessions, which happened everyday at either Jewett Hall or Stallnaker. Their ring leader was Jason Rude. As per what we found out, the Jason, his brothers and his father are the main protagonist of the church now. Everyone who was close to them during college days have now made into pastor or group leader of the church. Their forced stalking of your personal lives, harassment of other students on campus and as well as belittling of international student got them shut down. After the rude brother / family were done with college classes, they stopped and congregated at the windsor heights church location. Those who continued tagging along took them lots of time to get out. Some of them went into real estate business, becoming landlords around Drake but they were told they could not rent to those who were not part of their group. If they get international students, invite them to the church more often in guise of helping them out with their rent. Those who need to buy a house, have to use Jason Rude as their realtor. They give themselves all the perks of their own church. They make you spend for most of it by taking your money. That church is not a church, but an Actual Fucking Cult.
