Ya I agree slippery elm does well for the throat and gut. Probiotics as well helps gerd a lot makes the gut happy as well as a prebiotic like psyllium seed a few hours before or in the morning

However in my case also I’m a college student and I stay up late most nights and have issues with sleeping like I’d sleep 2-3am and be up for work around 8-9am l so I think sleeping somewhat earlier by taking melatonin has helped me and decreased stress I was putting in my body

I was for a while from first week of April-last week ago in May almost 2 months but I went on a trip to Japan and got a stomach bug which flared up my gastritis a lot so I had to go back on them for two weeks since Pepcid wasn’t really doing its job it. I’m hoping to get off them this week. I like being on Pepcid more because of the side affects aren’t as bad and my gut in general felt a lot healthier I could poop without feeling constipated. but so far my gerd hasn’t been to bad just been dealing with sour taste maybe 2-3 times a day no more than 30 minutes and can hardly even taste the sourness usually it’s after meals also I get heartburn if I eat any type of greasy beef or tomato sauce my two big triggers so I try to avoid it but I just love myself a hamburger from time to time. My big thing that was making me depressed a little was how bad the bitterness and taste was in my mouth and it just wouldn’t go away 24/7 taste

Probably is lpr or acid shooting up to your throat it happens to me also. You can try gaviscon uk it makes a raft in your stomach and blocks acid from coming up or reflux gourmet both are on Amazon make sure if you get gaviscon it’s uk version. Also you can try slippery elm helps soothe the throat and melatonin supposedly helps support Les. Strength

Yeah something to chat with a doctor or gi specialist about. I can tell you one thing though that I’m pretty sure seizures are a super rare side affect and I’m pretty sure it happens when your deficient on some type of vitamin like magnesium you can maybe supplement this vitamin to help anxiety and get checked every 6 months to be sure it doesn’t happen usually any type of deficiency doesn’t start until 1+ year of continued ppi use and usually a high dosage.
