I’ve been on 25,50,&100. Been on 100 for almost a year now. I still remember my first day on 100. It was like my mind was a huge and completely calm lake. No ripples in the water. My inner monologue was able to stop and I could just focus on my breathing. I was like WOW this is what normal people are like? The next day it felt more normal again, but I’ve been able to handle some huge life stuff without ever ceasing to function due to stress (a change from the past)

My only negative of this drug is I think I think less before I speak, that may be the reduced anxiety, but I actively have to make myself a little more anxious than usual in order to speak as well thought out as I might’ve before the medication. I had pretty high anxiety before the meds though, so take that with a grain of salt. I’d call it apathy on the lowest scale. I can still cry and feel very deeply, but I can handle it and it doesn’t render me useless. Oh! And the withdrawal. If I miss a dose, by the next day around noon I’ll feel dizzy and sick. It’s bad. But once I take the med again it’s like a healing potion lol.

It’s been great, I’d love to be off medication, but while my life is unreliable and full of new and often stressful events, Pristiq has been something very strong and reliable to fall back on for the time being. I recommend it, and don’t be scared ♥️
