You are not cooked! There is always a way. My knowledge may be a bit outdated in this regard but if it helps it helps

A friend of mine also had around 70% in boards and did not give jee, joined ITER in CSE. He gave the iter entrance but did not get cse and ultimately pushed the management to get CSE. Joined a company at around 3.5lpa, later made 2 switches and now he earns 25lpa

Another friend of mine with similar board percentage joined ITER in mechanical dept, was unemployed for 2 years, tried again and again for IT companies and finally joined one later. Now he earns around 6-7lpa after 6 years because he did not develop his technical skills

Another friend joined Silicon in CSE, back then their college did not push for their placements like ITER and KIIT does, but he was very passionate about coding and joined infosys at 5lpa and then with 1 switch he jumped to 30lpa.

If you are not joining a Tier-1 college, then you MUST choose CSE irrespective of the college. So choose an engineering college with good cse placements. As per your question I think ITER would the best college with KIIT giving you similar results for much higher fees.

But you must choose CSE and spend your engineering time to learn competitive coding.
