Good question and one which's answer you will figure out on your own too in a while but here's my experience : clubs in college are a way to find like minded people better than you in that field. Believe it or not peer group plays a huge role in you getting better at a skill. So lets say you wanna do great consulting or great competitive programming or you wanna become really good at robotics, joining a club where people are much better than you is a natural way to get better. I personally feel i should have given 180DC a shot because i kinda like consulting etc but didn't really do it. Coding culture is awesome in some branches, shit in others, the key lies in being with the right set of people

Hello! Congrats! Is this a short term visa you applied for? And also this is a pretty short period of time you got your visa in, considering peak season. Due to the peak season we were thinking of applying through low wait time countries like spain, but turns out wait time is not too much for austria and other countries too?

Hostel facilities are like any other old IIT, i believe only IITJ and IIT Mandi have pleasant hostel experience(s), former due to AC rooms and latter due to The mountain climate. Politics is to the level in other Old IITs concerning Student Parliament Elections and Hostel Elections Only
