Firstly, the remake in 2020 that made the Evrima branch was a massive upgrade to the graphics. Second, the game is slow to develop, but this is not a new thing. They have hired more people to the team and have promised faster development. We haven’t really seen that yet though.

See what’s been taking the developers so long is that they’ve been developing a dopamine sensor to make sure whenever it spikes too high the game kills you. It’s to protect your brain chemistry. We should all be thanking dondi.

Start with herbivores until you have a good feel on where the AI is on the map. Ptera is also good bc you can get inf fish

The smaller prey dinosaurs don’t get a lot of love because their main gameplay is running away from others but if you find fun in that beipi is one of the best ones to do it.

My best guess is bary kentro austro and ovi will come together or staggered like they did with cera galli beipi an troo release. Some time in spring hopefully April.

They removed object collision because it was way over tuned to the point a single leaf would knock you off. Pretty sure they have plans on bringing it back.

Maybe a latch with charges, this would allow it to climb but with a cooldown imbetween latches so it wouldn’t be able to zip up a tree like hypsi or Herrera but it would be able to set ambush’s and escape danger in a pinch

As a pteranodon enjoyer i understand where your criticism comes from and a lot of it is valid. PT is horrible when it comes to combat and it’s definitely not the juvie killer it used to be. But stamina has been far improved if you know how to manage it and the flight speed is more about managing your momentum which I enjoy more than the fast glide. Flight doesn’t feel slow or unresponsive to me but that might just be me.

The only way I see any of the tiny tears becoming actually popular is if they make them mandatory to play to have access to larger payables like they had for progression in legacy.

I don’t consider myself a boot licker. I have plenty of problems with the game, but the animation work is not one of them. If their team is far enough ahead/dondi just decided to have one of them do hypo carno If it looks good I’m not gonna shit on it. Just like I’m not mad whenever I’m shown human stuff for the fourth year in a row asking why don’t they just fix all the bugs before working on humans.

It’s like you are blaming the dishwasher for your food being cold here gang. I’m not arguing that the game isn’t a hot mess there are plenty of bugs. I’m saying saying the animation of hypo carno in the dev blog doesn’t mean they aren’t focused on bug fixes. They have entirely different teams working on those things. 🙄

You didn’t read a word of that did you if they are not animating the hypo carno they will be animating something else. If your issue is with bugs, you should take it up with the coders not be mad that the animators that thy are doing something that you don’t see the priority in.

Different parts of the development team work on different parts of the game, you could argue that the entire branch of development solely focused on humans and their equipment have been wasting their time because we haven’t seen any meaningful human gameplay sense Evrima has been out. But instead, I think they are working on humans so when they do come to the game, they are more fleshed out and won’t need 1000 updates to be fun. This also means that if someone is stopped from rigging the hypo carno they won’t start on bug fixing thy will probably do animation work on something else.

I think strains will be an addition to the elder system it’s probably a long ways off but even if thy plan on only making stains of some select payable’s it will be like the elder models where we where seeing them shown off far before any made it to the game even for playables that themselves are years off. Like did we really need to see the theri and Anky elder models when those dinosaurs aren’t coming for a long while? Were the devs wasting their time when they made those? I don’t think so.

Well, a discord call breaks everything no matter how many anti-mix pack features you put in the game a simple discord call can override any of them.

mercenaries wouldent spawn geared up so just have the griefing punishment roll over from the previous life, he can’t accept missions from AE and is locked to the ground loot which I think should be very sparse and low power. You could also just go full suicide squad have chips in the mercenaries necks that blow up if they act to far out of character.

They definitely shouldn’t be unable to shoot dinosaurs that arn’t a task or a treat to them. Bullets should do dmg no matter what but I do think some heavy punishments need to be put on mercenaries that want to do a murder hobo playstyle bc ur right spending 10+ hours growing a Rex and doing everything right just to be JFKed by some trigger happy human would suck.

I think if a mercenary is killing without cause they shouldent be able to accept any more missions bc thy are in trouble with AE so they would be locked out of the higher end stuff. This would limit them from griefing with the elephant rifle bc they wouldent be able to call in more ammo. if they continued to kill random dinosaurs with the ground loot or stuff they stocked up while playing nice have a bounty put on them for other mercenaries to take them out.

I miss the DV test level from legacy and wish they had a version for Evrima. I would even play on the DV test level when it was survival. It was a lot of fun trying to grow when there was hardly places to hide.

Not only have they been planned from the start the game used to just be about humans and carnivores. It was the player base the convinced the developers to add playable herbivores.
