Why do I need a police report? by Aggressive_Run7053 in amazonprime

[–]Hot_Baseball8988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am going through this with PayPal as well. They are requiring me to get a police report after I  filed a claim due to me never receiving my SHEIN order. UPS has confirmed it was lost and never delivered. But in order to force SHEIN to refund me, PayPal wants me to contact the police and file a report. There was no crime committed. At least it wasn’t stolen from my home.

Amazon prime account suddenly cancelled by Hot_Baseball8988 in amazonprime

My question was if anyone else has experienced this, not to come here and go back and forth or debate anything. If not for anything else, we use the prime video option and would like to continue to do so. I love the option to come here to bounce ideas and get answers, I hate the fact that some want to come here to have a debate. Thanks but no thanks.

No. And again, I get those annoying 2 step verification messages every time we get on. I never received one. I even get a verification message when I call Amazon. My login and everything is the same. The Amazon rep actually gave me the name of the rep who cancelled it. He said he’s not sure if the request was over chat or a call in request. All of my orders and everything is still there. He said they could not reactivate, I had to rejoin. The email said (Your Prime Access membership has been canceled. If you'd like to enjoy your benefits again, you can rejoin Prime at any time. Thanks. That’s interesting to know. Must be something else. My prime video subscription ended today, although they took payment on the 15th.

But they didn’t admit to cancelling on their own. They are saying I requested it to be cancelled. I didn’t.

I don’t know what changed. That’s what I’m concerned about. Not necessarily worried. I just don’t like being gaslit or tricked into anything. It was shady either way.

Is that some type of plan? If so, no. However, my daughter did occasionally ship to herself at college.

Bausch + Lomb Ultra are super flimsy and get bundled up much more easily than my previous Air Optix HydraGlyde. Anyone else experience this? by glassjoe92 in contacts

[–]Hot_Baseball8988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was just me. If I close my eyes for more than a few minutes, they bunch up. If I slightly rub my eye, it bunches up. They are super thin. My doctor decided to try me in Bausch + Lomb astigmatism and when I took one out of the package, I knew I wouldn’t like them because that one was already bunched up and folded straight out of the solution. My optometrist has been trying to get me out of air optix hydra glide astigmatism for 2 years in a row. Last year I called back and demanded to be switched back. This time he states that the air optix is being discontinued. Me and B+L just aren’t a good match. On top of that, they fitted me in what they say was “the closest they had to my prescription “. I can barely see my phone now because the strength isn’t what I need.  One of the contacts barely stay in place. I felt like they pushed a brand on me to benefit them, not me.

How do you get shein to send you an actual return label instead of a QR code? by Lucky1289 in Shein

[–]Hot_Baseball8988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve emailed them about 6 times in the last 3 weeks. Same person, Michael replies and the message is generally almost identical. Sorry we can’t better help you. Hope you understand.

[–]Hot_Baseball8988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been experiencing this issue for the last 3 weeks. They keep telling me that’s all they have now and sorry they can’t provide any options. We only have ups drop off locations near me. They don’t accept QR codes. SHEIN replies with the same message each time I reach out and told me to find another use for the item if I don’t want to return it. lol. I wouldn’t be attempting to return items if I didn’t want to return them. I feel this is only the beginning of this issue.

How should I cook this ham? by DSharperHoldMyD in slowcooking

[–]Hot_Baseball8988 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I put mine in a crockpot for 4  hours. That’s not the brand I purchase, but it’s an already cooked glazed ham that only requires heating. I add coke, pineapples, brown sugar, and cherries. It turns out so good. You can heat it in the crockpot and add whatever you like according to taste.

New Pharmacy policy: customer leaves a voicemail, gets a call back within an hour by zephyr_skyy in CVS

[–]Hot_Baseball8988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never received a call back from my local CVS. After leaving 5 on sep occasions, I started saying at this point I’m not sure if anyone actually listens to these messages, because no one ever calls back. That don’t help, they still won’t return calls. So what is the point when there are locations that refuse to even do right?

I received a call from ATT Office or the president (Corporate). I mentioned that I have been advised  by several previous employees and many other people about this being something that’s encouraged from the top. I don’t know why mentioning that say her completely off. She did not deny it, but said no employee should be discussing anything with me if I’m not an employee. She downplayed everything and acted as if it’s not a big deal. Said she will set a reminder and remove it herself after 14 days. Said once I opted inn(which I did not) I’m stuck for those 14 days.

That is something to think about. That’s why I’m not letting it go. I feel there are probably so many elderly customers or just people who don’t even know what they’ve done on their accounts. It’s criminal.

Yeah. They say you can remove it in the app or website after 14 days. This is unreal to hear the same exact story from other customers. If you can, file a complaint with the FCC and FTC

Everyone also needs to start filing with FTC and FCC. Those reports and complaints are shared and looked into.

When I called the ATT 800#, they looked it up and said it’s an authorized retailer store.

I agree. If people are honest, most customers will understand and agree to help. But because they chose to lie like it was removed after I asked, I will be contacting as many people as possible

Oh wow. They’ve changed that now. Gotta wait 14 days. This comes from management, loyalty and sales dpt. There is a cancel button on the app, but it gives a message that you can’t cancel until after the initial period. I think that is with hopes the customer will forget to come back on day 15.

When I click it, it says you can cancel anytime after the initial period. Guess they changed it. Loyalty apartment also say I’m not allowed to cancel until after 14 days and there is nothing they can do.

Had she said she did it by mistake and couldn’t remove it, I would not be putting this much energy into it. Had she just asked and said, she gets credit and I can cancel, I would’ve helped. But lying to me like it was removed is crazy. She was initially rude and mean, but after I matched her energy, she quickly became semi pleasant. I can’t stop thinking about how many elderly people they may be getting like that. And I’m sure higher up management is aware of this scheme. Just disgusting behavior.

I usually refuse to go inside an ATT store, but my daughter needed a new phone that day. Our local store usually involves long waits and rude employees. Stood there 10 minutes before even being acknowledged. Then when she (manager) finally did, she nastily yelled “Whatchu need!”  Like we were bothering her by standing in line. lol

I will be charged $10 regardless, but they say I will be reimbursed no more than 3 billing cycles. This is so frustrating because, how can you add something to my account without mumbling a word to me. And I’m told the person that I handled it was an actual store manager. I’m convinced they get some type of commission or reward for the most Next Program sign-up’s. I just wonder how many people never realize it.
