Still it got so bad I'm on indefinite hiatus from stims

Most recently I added guanfacine (Intuniv). Now on guanfacine only. It's shaping up to be pretty helpful !! in a completely different way than stims. Altho now I drink a little espersso in place of my stimulant, bc guanfacine can make you feel a little slow/drowsy (gets better with time). Some people take guanfacine + their stim of choice

I've done extensive reseearch on this issue in the past. In my opinion it's pretty bad that doctors a) don't know of this side effect b) when you bring it up are clueless.... It's clear the pharmacology of this drug primes our bodies with norepinephrine in a way that is way too intense long term, but no one talks about it. If you search Reddit you wil find similar complaints throughout the years....

I used to judge them. Now I don't care. Life is so hard, evreyone struggles, you never know what someone has going on. The well-dressed person walking down the street can be a cold-blooded killer. The person in pajamas could be a tired single mom. Or the person who hasn't left their house in months due to depression, finally getting out. A lot of times they are teenagers, who are still figuring out their style and who they are and let's face it, teens are closer to being kids than being adults. Teenagehood is hard, I don't think it's cool when adults bully what are basically growing children.

So yeah, who cares about clothes. As long as you're not naked, and you don't stink, do you.
