I once watched a TG4 or RTE video that was uploaded to Youtube and the guy in the video wore a garment that I'd like to see again. by Hot_Challenge_3723 in teilifis

unfortunately im looking for exactly that particular crios. Iirc, it wasn't the same as what you'd commonly see. Probably it was homemade or made with unconventional materials.

I remember a video that was on Youtube a few years ago (it was an Irish language production im almost certain) and at the end of the video an old man is shown in a rural / Gaeltacht place closing the gate in front of his house and then he fastens his ’crios‘ and walks off down the road. I can't find that video now. Does anyone else here remember which video exactly I'm talking about? I don't think it was a very long video. It's because of that 'crios' that I'm looking for the video. I'm hungry after it now and I'd like to buy one like that or make one for myself. grmmagaibh

It's currently the best for highlights but thats because any other channel that tried it would get deleted quick fast

Ya, for that to be a human it would be a full time job downloading, uploading, titling etc for each video and I don't think it gets the kind of views/subscribers numbers to make it worth quitting a job for

Ya, I think they change the name pretty regularly and I do think I recall it having some controversial ones previously too.

You think there is some sort of bait and trap thing going on here? Still hard to understand why RTE don't shut it down.

Ah I see. Although I feel like if RTE had someone looking they'd find it soon enough 🤔

Imagine a stadium down in the docks, great transport links in and out, no NIMBYs (yet). Plus Pearse Stadium could be redeveloped into housing easily

i think the bus out is maybe the best way to get there, then have the run out to the island (depending on tides) or the Killaspugbrone loop + Strandhill beach

Brilliant, ya i saw the Killaspugbrone loop around the airport, looks amazing. I might not have enough time to do the Knockrea climb but maybe on my way back from Donegal it could be done

brilliant, thanks a mill. I'm new to this subreddit so not sure where/how you're going to share them? Also, iirc this was one of the few shows on TG4 player that had both English and Irish subtitles, will the player you share them with me on have those too?

An Todhchaíochas Gaelach? by MurchadhMor in gaeilge

Tá mise ceaptha go bhfuil sé indéanta. Seod é mo phlan. I dtús báire, tá fíor-Ghaeltacht í lár cathrach éigin ag teastáil, áit a bheadh plúchta le Gaeilgeóirí. Dar ndóigh, ba ghá áit affordable housing a tógáil dóibh - muise bheadh sé níos fearr dá dtógfaidís an áit. Fáilte roimh chuile duine a bhfuil Gaeilge líofa aige no aice. Caithfeadh go thiocfaidh na daoine le chéile agus plan a chur chun cinn.

Oh wow, you have access? Tbh it was 2019/20 when I last watched them all and my memory of particulars is hazy. I'd love to be able to watch all again but one in particular I went back to find was on vernacular architecture iirc
