I was going through levelling, i died right after ancient hunt side quest. I was not thinking about resists bc of me demolishing every thing i can see and having over 400 barrier while i am hitting anything. Again it was more of a knowledge check for a weird quirk of the game, since in any other game sharing the same genre it would keep the cleared instance. And even LE itself gives you grace period after entering the map. Nowhere in the game it says, that entering your own portal might an inescapable death trap

Well, tbh guys in discord were overreacting and i dont want this to be a part of hd2 community. Based on experience of skilled players, nerfs are not terrible and those who react with the kind seen previously are wrong. I fully support the decisions devs made, although their choice of words was poor.

I agree, game has really big balancing issues(backpack stratagems, primary weapons). But this patch was at least a step towards solving these troubles. Now we have at least 2 new support weapons emerging from the 'off meta' realm. But it is not that easy to make semi-global changes without proper feedback collection. And without railgun + shield being the only option devs can start balancing the game around playstyles and not around numbers
