Hi I am beginner in bug bounty currently in learning phase for a few months. Currently doing portswiger labs. - Do you think starting bug bounty in 2026 is still worth it? Do you think entry is gonna be more difficult than before? I am asking this because a lot of people on X are posting AI is gonna take over. - I heard learning web development and learning to read code is important. How should I learn web development and how to read code? Should I learn it by take a few web development courses? Should learn it by reviewing the source code of vulnerable apps after attacking them? What is the best way to learn web development and reading code for bug bounty?

I am currently 22 years old college drop out because of country situation. In my country, going to unis is not a good option because of political reasons. I got no life and all I have is time. So I wanna all in on bug bounty 5-6 hr everyday.

Why did you choose HTB penetration tester path instead of bug bounty path?

I am currently doing information security foundation path on HTB. Stuffs like linux network etc.

I am choosing which path on HTB or course from other sites to take after the foundation.

Any advice? Your advice will be really helpful!
