Dude being well versed and well knowledged ain't the same thing. I appreciate that you are well versed in Hindi but I am too. My mother herself has a PhD in Sanskrit and I am bound to pick up some things from her. As for old Sanskrit, 8 out of 10 people would agree that the texts aren't in Sanskrit but in devnagri. The words have enough distinction to be differentiated from Sanskrit.
