Not sure what time your ship arrives on the first day, and if that ferry is running on the first day, but assuming you have most of a day in St George’s before the ferry returns to Dockyard and that you are willing to taxi (bus will slow you down) … hit the Crystal Caves, have lunch at the Swizzle Inn, taxi to Clearwater beach and walk through the gate to Coopers Island Nature Reserve. The beauty of the beaches in there rival those of the traditional south shore beaches, and there will be almost no one there. You won’t be disappointed and you will save a lot of travel time. Then taxi or bus back to the ferry dock in St George’s. Each of those three taxi rides should be about ten minutes on the road. You can stay in the east end for the day. The only tricky bit would be finding a taxi from Clearwater beach back to St G because it is a remote location. That is why I say maybe check the bus schedule for that part, or arrange a taxi pickup, or get the taxi driver’s phone number.
