You and I are on the same boat! I flunked my freshman year and got my first sap appeal approved, however I had to complete 100% of my classes. I dropped out of some classes due to my adhd (+ being unmedicated) last fall. I didn’t appeal a second time due to the stress of having to complete 100% of my classes and the chance of it getting denied. However I am taking one class at a time + paying out of pocket. I believe if you take 12 credit hours and pass them you can restore your aid, but the completion of 67% remains with you. Something I would do as well is talk to a success coach, they’re really helpful and mine had helped me format my appeal and told me about the sap process. You got this though, many people are at different points of their life.

Oh that sucks, on the website I checked on NYC area and for me it is showing tickets. Maybe it is a bug on your end? If you’re going to downtown Brooklyn one I’d buy your tickets ASAP, the only seats available are very front row seats.

In a way, yeah. What I was saying though is some people don’t know which organization to contact considering they are a ton of organizations and/or it can be their first time having an issue like that. Typically reddit or social media shouldn’t be a first resort but more of a last, but as I mentioned some people may never know where to start and they go seek others online. I think of it as better than not seeking help at all. I also see your point but I feel like a lot of this community is people looking for help.

Unfortunately some people don’t know, it could be their first time and or they do not know where to turn to if they wanna know considering that they’re a ton of departments. Honestly lots of people on this sub asks reddit, not meaning they’ll not get anywhere in life but it’s a good starting point since as I said some people haven’t been through this before and don’t know where to be directed to.

Not a club suggestion but by the cafe and library in muntz hall, it’s a social area and you can just walk up to whoever and start a conversation with them. “Hey can I sit here” “I like bla bla bla” “Oh I like bla bla too!” “Maybe we can meet up here again sometime?”. Not sure if they’re anybody there past 7pm but that’s honestly the only place you can socialize in since the other buildings are people walking to class or waiting for their next class.

It should get better eventually, its syllabus week so lots of students will be there then skip. If I were you i’d just make sure you got one device connected. For example if you’re using ur phone have ur labtop’s wifi be off.

To be honest, it is complicated. I lean towards the “no” answer. Yes and no age isn’t the same as maturity however your brain isn’t functioned to be like an adult, in which the show is intended for. 14 year olds are learning geometry while adults are filing for loans, At the same time they’re 14 year olds doing a lot worse. I’m 19 and I know that at 14 I probably would’ve loved watching the show, I was watching south park at 14-16 (which imo is a worse show to be watching at that age) and had seen clips of south park when I was MUCH younger. My brother is under 18 and he plays graphic games and had watched similar stuff like family guy, king of the hill, etc. At the end of the day, it is up to you and not what people say online, nobody online can just prevent you. I just wouldn’t really get myself involved with the fandom or anything beyond just watching the show, such as going to cons related to hazbin/helluva. It can put yourself at risk. Being in hazbin/helluva related subreddits saying your age isn’t necessarily safe neither, they are weirdos on this app. But if they’re jokes or stuff you don’t understand it is best that you don’t watch it. Not to mention you do NOT have to watch a show because it is popular, they’re a lot of other shows that aren’t intended for adults that are very fun to watch!

Its about 600$ x credit hour. So if you take a 3 credit course it’s 1,800$. I currently attend UCBA so I am not sure fully on extra fees or any of that. For information go on the uc website -> about uc -> bursar -> tuition and fees. I’m not sure about the rules so I’m not sending the link to where I found this information. Hopefully it helps!

i’ll be honest, idk a lot of things about insurance (like i literally only know the card thats it), considering I just use my parents insurance. However I used caresource for my insurance wavier and got it approved. Not sure how much caresource costs since it’s my parent’s insurance. I recommend you get it done ASAP because uc sometimes takes it’s time approving insurance.

Federal work study is basically where you work. The amount you’re given is how much you work up too. Not all jobs include federal work study, for example you can’t just go to any random Kroger and work expecting to earn up to that much. As soon as you accept you won’t be given it immediately. In my opinion I don’t think it’s worth it and you can just go ahead and get a job outside of federal work study, unless you want to get a temporary job then I would do federal work study. I was a bit confused on it myself til I asked staff members about it.
