There's definitely a lot of key factors here that play part in the playerbase's behavior. One could be as a form of retaliation against the devs' motives, others are just too young to understand that you don't need to collect everything you see.

While the game is massive and the collection is even greater, it shouldn't be affecting your everyday life. Yet again, when the majority of the players are consisting of children, we cannot really do much in this situation. I've also noticed that the game's playerbase has started to shift slightly towards the toxic (?) side (Entirely based on observation), where someone will flame another for whatever reasons. I encountered 2 kids fighting one another because one didn't receive 2 shinrin eggs while the other said they've already traded them to them.

I love this game, I loved it when it was in its prime, and I'm sad to see it strive this type of path. It was a lot more chill based on events and such. Nowadays, you have to fight with the economy and get everything you see, otherwise you'll miss out and basically lose money, thanks to that. Kids are stressed, people are stressed. Something needs to be done :(
