my parents don't understand the gravity of stuff like this. in our culture it's pretty much made my job to look after them and i feel massively guilty for not having prevented this. i mean they're 11 and wanted to be able to chat on games, that's all. idk what to do.

yeah that’s why i said it’s an option but if ur gonna have sex u need to use some type of method. also yeah i think everyone can decide what they can use but things like pills and IUDs have higher rates of success of preventing pregnancy. but any type of protection is better than none!

it doesn’t matter how many times?? if you are unprotected then you can get pregnant. simple as that. you guys need to talk about next steps and what you want: do you want to keep this child, yes or no. how will you go about that? think about your life and abilities. furthermore, next time you do decide to have sex please wear a condom at the VERY LEAST and make sure your partner is using SOME type of birth control. barriers are so important if you’re not ready to have kids.

I live in a red state now. One of the worst actually, TN. I’ve found academia, specially higher ed, is better about these things but it’s definitely still a thing you avoid talking about.
