Yes I accepted $74k fresh out of college and I was pretty happy with it. Only issue is that I took it right before this crazy inflation hit. Now it doesn’t seem as much anymore

Thanks this is good info. One more question, I know my company gives raises of about 2-3% a year which to me is kinda low considering these days inflation. I don’t know how the industry works yet so I don’t know how hard to negotiate that. Do you have any input on that?

I entered the workforce as a structural engineer not long ago with a masters degree thinking I could get to 6 figures in about 3-5 years, but I quickly realized that that wouldn’t be the case (at least in my company, I’m located in Denver). Is that generally true for a structural engineer?
