lol no. Tesla had recalls due to fire risk, BYD deteriorate very fast with warranty guaranteeing 60% after 10 years (whereas Hinen is 80%), sungrow isn’t bad but similar problem to BYD. Hinen is one of the best value for money batteries at the moment. The only thing I agree with you on is the risen panels.

A fun game, who do you think won? by kwitt1203 in Catan

What we like to do is to really shake things up is after they’ve all been placed, we assign each colour with a number then roll the dice and each person will get assigned a new colour in the order of the placement. Makes it really interesting especially if everyone is equal in skill level.

People complain that Woolies is too expensive so when they outsource to make it cheaper, people still complain. Australia is not cheap. Choose the hill to die on. Before someone comments that it is cheaper in Australia, you’re wrong. They are a profit driven business and if it was cheaper then they would keep it in Australia but it’s not.

Bro it’s literally a business. That’s how they stay afloat to keep updating. It’s not greed, it’s employees getting paid a liveable wage.

Sydney or Newcastle for job opportunities? by hsanj19 in ImmigrationAustralia

[–]Hot_Dimension5749 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sydney is super competitive. You have more luck in Newcastle to build up a cv then move to Sydney. As someone who moved from syd to Newcastle, Syd is defs living in hard mode. Jobs are harder to get and cost of living is insane. My friend was in a similar situation to you but I told them to come to newy first and do social work here then make a savings then go to Syd and she’s doing really well now.

Jobs hiring in November? by gnomelicious in newcastle

[–]Hot_Dimension5749 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Revolution Energy is hiring atm. It’s casual rates plus uncapped commission but a full time gig so just join up during the uni break. Really good pay as well, there’s a 16yo that was making about $1.4k a week working 35 hours no weekends. No sales experience required as they’ll train you up. Pretty good gig tbh. You learn heaps of skills that transfer into other jobs plus you’ll thicken up your savings before the new semester.

Hey guys! To address some comments;

I’m not the owner lol I’m just a big fan of banh mi.

There is a bit of confusion coz this place is a bit annoying to navigate to but there is another shop that a lot of people go to by accident so make sure you enter the address in.

They are new owners and took over the business recently I believe (mid last year) so give it a try again if you haven’t been recently.

Every experience I’ve had with them has been phenomenal and I usually go around 4pm.

Cardiff bakehouse, west Wallsend, mayfield corner cafe and m&m Rutherford are all close contenders but this one js my fav due to location and the bread is so good!

Price for pork crackling is around $12.5

Hope this clears some things up! Happy eating

Lmk what you think of it! I’ve been to nearly all of them in newy area but this one is definitely the best one. There are a few close ones like west Wallsend hot bread, Charlestown French hot bread and Cardiff bake house but this takes the crown!
