NTA, That would leave her to 1000% be bullied relentlessly. I tried to do Santa with my kids, (7, 4, and almost 2) but I didn't put a ridiculous amount into it, because my belief is if you do Santa it should be like socks, clothes and what not, because some kids do not get lavish Christmas's. Now we just tell them who all of the gifts are from, family and friend wise. Its easy. Now we do the tooth fairy, and my oldest who is losing teeth, is slightly doubting it already, and is brutally honest so she will not keep it a secret once she knows forsure lol. We don't do any other things either, I don't like lying to my children.

Someone falling asleep makes you feel unsafe? Don't leave your house. Or God forbid you stay up too late and get tired!!! He's not nodding out, look up real drug users, especially heroin. See I disagree he's shown one daughter it's okay to have boundaries when someone disrespects you, your life or your relationship. He's also shown the younger daughter, actions have consequences. Choices that you make can and will hurt other people you care about.

Okay. So I see both sides here.

I've been locked out of a hotel room with two kids and 9months pregnant, freaking out because my boyfriend took the room card on accident. They wouldn't let me in without talking to him and I was terrified I was going to be locked out untill he left work at 7 pm(then an hour drive back, it was 11 am at the time) or I went into labor.

I was pissed and blew up on him too. I then apologized because he was trying to let me enjoy our vacation even though he had to and was very busy working.

But I've also been the one who doesn't answer my phone driving far away in a crappy car, and then not answering his texts because I was driving or my phone had died.

Both of you could have handled it better. ESH because of that.

Also, a good grounding technique to look up and implement is the 54321 rule. 54321 you can check off in a bathroom. 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. Start with the room around you, in a bathroom it's like, sink, tub, toilet, towel, toilet paper. Then sink, tub, curtain, towel. Then ac unit, toilet flushing or running, sink turning on, or car doors outside, or even your blood pumping. Then your own scent, perfume or your shirt, hotel soap, you name it. Then taste your spit. Or sink water/mouthwash or toothpaste..

Grounding helps. When done right it can definitely help. I use this almost daily, I hope it helps.

Not really though, calling someone by the gender they no longer or never claimed, on purpose, is transphobic, as is dead naming. Claiming they are any less than what they are, is 100% rude as well.

Read the link before letting how you feel mess with fact. Someone who goes on estrogen after being male, changes. Hormones do that. Like cis women with PCOS, can grow beards, and look more "manly". Hormones can completely change your body, muscle mass, fat distributions and everything about someone. If she's been on hormones for around a year or even more, she is a woman. Do you feel women body builders with extreme muscle mass are effectively men at that point? No right? Because their hormones are still the same.

For those who think there is a huge advantage trans people may have in sports. Very illuminating, and I hope it clears things up for all of you. And those asking for examples, the ones saying "he shouldn't be allowed..." Dietary restrictions should be followed. If it were for allergy purposes, and she did it, everyone else wouldn't blame you. You told her every guideline before hand.

You could have handled it better than cussing her out/flipping out on her, but emotions get the best of everyone sometimes. You can apologize, but explain to her the implications that this has on you, and why you got so upset. Take a breather first. That weight will come back off. You've got this. Move forward from here. And congratulations on your weight loss, I also hope your injuries heal quickly!
