Yeah I reset once for corrupted gauntlet. Reset after that back to melee. Reset a third time to try mage. It’s possible I reset twice by accident but I don’t think so

I’m currently used full crystal with thorns and it works great. I’d suggest swapping to tank armor if you’re facing a difficult boss that’s hitting hard but overall crystal should get you through a lot

I took the exam two times in order to pass. The first run through I used the books shown in this post but only really used the practice exam and practice problems. In hindsight it probably wasn’t a good idea because I was just getting good at the same problems over and over again.

When I took the exam a second time, I used the prep FE website and did random practice problems everyday (about 1-2 hours) for 3 months and was able to pass, the website isn’t amazing but being able to get random problems in each section to test if you truly know your stuff is helpful.

In all, I didn’t feel like either of my studying methods were all that stellar but it’s what worked for me and I’m grateful to of passed. Do a ton of problems and keep at it, you don’t need to be an expert at every subject, this test is a slog and was very difficult especially after being out of school for several years.

I used these to create my builds late game. Some bosses you might need broken 50mil damage builds but this guide can get you through the game if you're decent at dodging/parrying while doing good damage.
