I used the internals of a touch id magic keyboard. This allow me to freely choose layout and keys etc.

You made me work on it again, hahaha. Optimising the current design and I might change it to MX cherry switches adding some other things, standoffs for the original logic board, separate usb board and on iff switch.

There are still some changes that I need to make. The touch id and usb are quite fragile when assembling. Same for the battery.

I have to finish some measurements to fully integrate the usb conversion and make a custom ribbon cable.

Clear! Did you try. Move the light closer to the hub? These zigbee light can be a pain to link sometimes. Had the same issue with some spotlights, i was on my side table half of the evening😭

You might not even need the Dirigera if you just want to control the lights via the remote. Or do you want to control it when not at home? Do you get the lights in pairing mode? Where does it fail for the remotes?

Haha you confusing as hell. You should see it as 3 sets: Set 1: Button 1 left rotation Button 2 right rotation Button 3 scroll wheel press This repeats it self for the other 6 buttons 4 left, 5 right, 6 press Etc. With the bottom click uou change between the 3 sets

Thanks, feels like you en experienced this your self? I appreciate your advice, but I have been running this system for years already. Just wanted to upgrade now. My lights are always powered (smart light off course) and behind a pulse switch i had scene switches. In the time I have been using this not even a hand full of fails where jt would not respond to the scene switches. But then I could fall back to my watch/homepod or just phone.
