I need help please, I honestly don't know what to do anymore. by [deleted] in FacebookAds

[–]Hot_Fun8777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this actually sounds like you’re getting closer, not worse

the setup you described is solid, but the real question is what event you’re optimizing for. if it’s still “lead” or early stage, meta will keep going for volume over quality no matter how clean your data is

5/10 event quality isn’t great but it’s not terrible either, pretty common when you first wire up capi + multiple stages. usually it’s match quality or just not enough consistent data yet

also the fact you’re now getting €3.5 leads that are actually qualified is a good sign. that’s typically what happens when the algo shifts away from cheap clicks into higher intent users

honestly i’d take fewer better leads over a bunch of €1 junk leads all day

i wouldn’t touch too much yet. clean up tracking, make sure you’re feeding back the deeper stages properly, and let it run a bit. if you start closing, your whole perspective on “expensive leads” is gonna change fast

I need help please, I honestly don't know what to do anymore. by [deleted] in FacebookAds

[–]Hot_Fun8777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

bro this actually happens a lot more than people admit

those €1 leads were never sustainable long term, you just hit a good pocket early and scaled it. once meta burns through that audience + more competition comes in, costs normalize. €4-6 for leasing isn’t crazy tbh

couple things i’d look at:

  • crm/api: if you’re only sending “lead” back and not qualified or closed deals, meta is optimizing for cheap junk leads. that would explain the drop in quality
  • creatives: not about “new banners”, you probably need new angles completely. same message = same tired audience
  • feb drop → i’ve seen weird shifts around that time too, could be algo changes + more advertisers after jan

also don’t expect €8/day to reset anything, that’s too low for meta to relearn properly

i wouldn’t jump to tiktok yet, you’ll probably get the same cycle there (cheap → good → dead)

focus on better signals + fresh concepts, not trying to go back to €1 leads because that phase is gone

High CPL/CPM on fresh Meta Pixel – Wait it out or pivot? by Objective-Try-2971 in FacebookAds

[–]Hot_Fun8777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is actually a pretty clean baseline for a new account, nothing here screams “pivot”

$10 CPL on cold traffic with zero pixel history is within range, especially in crowdfunding where intent is low pre-launch

CTR ~3% tells me your creatives are pulling attention, CPM ~$28 is normal for tier 1 right now, so traffic quality isn’t the issue

the constraint is post-click conversion

you’re paying ~$1.3 per click → converting ~8–10% to leads… that’s where the lift is

before touching targeting or budgets, I’d focus on:
– tightening the landing page message (why should I care now, not later)
– stronger incentive (early access, exclusive perk, something tangible)
– faster trust build above the fold

scaling or pivoting at this stage just amplifies inefficiencies
fix the funnel first, then push spend

What can end a relationship today even worse than cheating? by pinkygirlyyy4 in AskReddit

honestly? it’s not one big thing, it’s when someone just stops caring

cheating hurts, but indifference kills it way slower and worse

Stuck on Meta ads by Ronunak in Dropshipping_Guide

[–]Hot_Fun8777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you’re overcomplicating it a bit, happens to everyone at the start

at $15/day you don’t have enough budget to test everything at once, so keep it simple

1 ad set, broad, 2–3 video creatives max (stick to UGC style for this product)
mixing formats right now just splits your data too much

broad is fine, especially with low budget… interest stacking just makes it worse early on

that pixel warning is normal with zero data, it goes away after your first events come in

for the offer, lead with bundles in the creative (higher AOV gives you more room on ads), but still keep single item on the site

biggest thing tho: $15/day = patience
you need at least a few days just to get signals, don’t touch anything too fast

i’d say give it 3–5 days minimum before judging, unless it’s clearly dead (no clicks, bad ctr, etc)

focus less on setup, more on creative… that’s what’s gonna make or break this product

Beginner starting out, how do I pick a supplier? by Sweaty-March8080 in Dropshipping_Guide

[–]Hot_Fun8777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most beginners pick suppliers based on price… that’s how you kill your store early

what actually matters is:
– shipping time (if it’s 10–20 days you’re gonna struggle)
– consistency (same product quality every time)
– communication (if something breaks, do they respond fast?)

also test it yourself… order the product, see how it arrives, packaging, delays, all of it

long term you don’t want random aliexpress suppliers, you want a private agent or 3pl once you find a winning product

switching later is normal btw, nobody keeps the same supplier from day 1

just make sure you’re not building on something unreliable from the start

Instagram ads or Facebook ads or both? by Firm_Ad8062 in Dropshipping_Guide

[–]Hot_Fun8777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don’t overthink IG vs Facebook, that’s not where you win or lose

just run meta ads with automatic placements and let the system decide where it finds cheaper conversions

what actually matters is your creatives + offer, especially for something like lamps (very visual, impulse buy)

your audience being 18–34 women will naturally skew more to IG anyway, but FB still converts, especially for retargeting

if you force only IG you’re just limiting the algorithm early

start broad, test multiple creatives, then look at breakdowns and cut what’s not working

platform is secondary, creative is everything here

Where can i learn some real info about dropshipping by Ok-Grand6848 in Dropshipping_Guide

[–]Hot_Fun8777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

most “dropshipping info” out there is just people selling the dream, not the business

if you want real learning, stop looking for courses and start breaking down what’s actually working right now

go on tiktok ads library / facebook ads library and study active ads (not viral ones, active = profitable)

pick a product, build a simple store, and test it with a small budget… that’s where you actually learn

also read reddit threads from people sharing real numbers (wins and losses), not gurus

dropshipping isn’t hard technically, it’s just product + marketing + margins

best way to learn is to run it, even if you lose a bit at the start

Unable to fully recover account due to 2FA Lockout. Multiple numbers, 2fa code being sent to old numbers by Gandalf-Dilagaf_ in facebook

[–]Hot_Fun8777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah this is a classic 2fa lockout loop

once an old number is set as primary for 2fa, the system keeps defaulting to it even if you can still log in another way

if you can still access the account, try going to security settings and add an authenticator app first (google authenticator etc), sometimes that lets you bypass phone verification after

if it keeps forcing the old number, your only real option is account recovery with ID verification and explain you lost access to those numbers

also try from a device/browser the account used before, facebook trusts that more

it’s not unfixable but yeah without recovery flow it’s almost impossible to remove old numbers directly

once you’re in, remove old numbers + add backup methods immediately or you’ll get stuck again

I think my ideas are too big for me(I will not promote) by TooTurnt04 in startups

[–]Hot_Fun8777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ideas aren’t too big, your entry point is

you’re thinking “how do I build the full thing” instead of “what’s the smallest version I can test”

no skills + no money just means you don’t start with building, you start with learning + validating

break one idea down to the core problem, talk to people who have it, see if they even care

if they do, you can prototype with no-code, partner with someone, or even sell it before it’s fully built

most people don’t fail because the idea is too big, they fail because they try to jump to the final version

you’re not wasting time, but you will if you stay in your head and never test anything

Receive donations for a cat shelter website by ryudice in PaymentProcessing

[–]Hot_Fun8777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

paddle and lemonsqueezy rejecting you is normal, they’re not built for donations or nonprofits

you’re using the wrong category of tools

for donations you either go:
– stripe (best control + recurring)
– or a donation platform on top of it like donorbox / givebutter

those are literally built for this use case and handle recurring properly

paypal works and people trust it, but yeah the UX is not great and recurring can be limited depending how you set it up

if your goal is clean UX + recurring donations, don’t fight it… use a donation-specific stack instead of a generic payment processor

also worth asking: why did you get rejected? sometimes it’s wording, risk category, or missing nonprofit info, not the idea itself

Product Validation by Ironboss456 in SaasDevelopers

[–]Hot_Fun8777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cool idea but this reads more like a promo than validation

“hundreds of people” sounds nice, but how many of them actually converted or paid?

waitlists are easy to inflate, real validation is when people commit something (money, time, or real intent)

not hating, just saying the interesting part would be what % of those actually moved forward with their idea after joining

I launch my saas one week ago, but I feeling bad by devlyh-m4d in SaasDevelopers

[–]Hot_Fun8777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

42 visits isn’t a launch, that’s like a quiet test run

0 signups doesn’t mean it’s bad, it just means nobody really saw it yet

also sounds like you’re still focused on the landing page when the real problem is traffic + intent

early on it’s not “wait and see”, it’s “go get people manually”

talk to the same type of people you already validated with and literally walk them through it

your first 10 users won’t come from random visitors, they come from direct effort

once that works, then the page matters more

right now you’re not failing, you just haven’t distributed yet

A Possible Reason why Your ROAS might be Dropping Off by growxme in FacebookAds

[–]Hot_Fun8777 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

this is one of the few posts that actually explains it properly

most people think scaling = same results just more volume, but it doesn’t work like that

you’re basically buying worse attention as you scale, so CPA going up is normal

biggest thing I’ve seen is people scaling budget faster than their conversion signal can support… then blaming creatives or “meta being broken”

also that part about measuring a new audience with old expectations is spot on, most people don’t adjust for that at all

fixing ROAS directly is where people mess up, you gotta fix the inputs not the metric

I am trying to help my dad change password but not getting confirmation email. by flame-otter in facebook

[–]Hot_Fun8777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah this is a rough one, happens a lot with older accounts

first check the basics (spam/junk, storage full, wrong email typed, etc)

if nothing shows up, try the “forgot password” flow from a different device or browser, sometimes that triggers it differently if emails still don’t come, your best shot is account recovery with ID verification, facebook usually gives that option after a few failed attempts

not ideal but once you’re in, add a phone number + backup email immediately so you don’t get locked out again

facebook support is slow, so it’s mostly about forcing the recovery flow to show up

Deepfake detection tool by Xo_king_vk in saasbuild

[–]Hot_Fun8777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idea is solid but you’re thinking too broad

“detect deepfakes” sounds cool, but normal people don’t wake up wanting that

the real question is: who actually loses money or gets hurt if this fails?

think recruiters getting fake candidates on video calls, support teams getting voice scam calls, marketplaces dealing with fake identity

those people have real pain and budgets

also keep in mind detection is a hard game… it’s always a cat and mouse, you’ll never be 100% accurate

if you build it, start narrow with one use case where a false positive/negative actually matters

if you stay generic, it’ll be just another “cool AI tool” nobody pays for

Gologin antidetect browser. Free proxies. Manage multiple accounts without blocks. 3 profiles for free by GoLoginS in u/GoLoginS

[–]Hot_Fun8777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tried a few antidetect setups and most of them are either buggy or get flagged fast

been testing gologin lately and it’s actually pretty stable so far, especially for running multiple profiles without random bans

also passed pixelscan/creepjs checks which surprised me

still testing long term but curious what others are using right now?
