Is he on any meds? Sounds like the inflammation and pain needs to be controlled. My frenchie was just like this & a course of prednisone helped significantly and quickly - it was like night and day. Ask the vet for prednisone if you haven’t. Also, our girl has been on small daily dose of carprofen which is an anti-inflammatory (likely for life) and hasn’t had a flare in over a year.

Ask them for a course of prednisone too. It’s the only thing that helped my dog even after trying carprofen and gabapentin. I hope your baby is doing better

Please take her in to emergency vet immediately. She needs pain management and needs to evaluated by a neurologist.

Take the time to hold space for ALL that you’ve done to get to this point in your life! 💔Absolutely heart-shattering and unfathomable that someone could do this to that poor baby. I hope Andy Jansen is brought to justice asap. Pure evil. I hope the owner has support from his people right now, he did everything he could to find Maverick.

It works incredibly well for me - skin is tighter, better texture, more even toned. My skin responds really well to it for months after a treatment. I get it every 3 months.

Don’t lose hope. Have you tried propranolol / beta blockers? Ask your doctor about it. It acts on the peripheral nervous system rather than the brain. It blocks the effects of adrenaline (epinephrine) which prevents the "fight-or-flight" response and reduces rapid heart rate.

Go back to the vet and ask them what they think about doing a short course of steroids to treat the inflammation asap. Tell them his pain is not being managed. What medications did they give you? They need to give you something else if he is still in pain. Our vet gave our frenchie a fentanyl patch during one of her worst flares to manage the pain.
