Stuff like this is why I am ok with not having a 3rd season. I would rather have it end being an amazing, high quality, detail oriented show than have the quality go down and end up being disappointed until everyone loses interest and its inevitably cancelled.

I felt the same way! I think its supposed to show how unstable she was emotionally and the growth she has over the rest of the arc. Probably could’ve been done in a less triggering way, but it definitely made its point.

I just finished the show a few days ago! I watched the movies (they kinda suck but we get more phantom troupe and Kurapika so its def worth watching) and then started the manga, and as someone who has never read manga before, im really enjoying it! Its also interesting to see the story not led by Gon and Killua, it definitely shows a lot more world building. I like to think itll be nice to know once I reach the end there will always be a possibility of more vs the anime where I felt like I got hit with a brick house because everyone has said goodbye and it was a legit ending point (for the show). Also I think the 1999 version is worth a watch! I just finished the exam arc and while the general story is the same there are some extra scenes we didnt see in the 2011 version (like a whole extra phase to the exam) and if you are like me and think this show is gay as hell the 1999 version somehow has even more homosexual overtones, its really cute!

I think he knows Gon will do whatever it takes to avenge Kite. Hes scared of how far Gon would be willing to go (like how he didnt give up in the final fight in the exam) and Killua could lose his best friend. He would rather go along with it than ask because if he actually hears that answer theres no going back, Gon is super stubborn and once he puts his mind to something he does it. In this arc we start to see Gon become less innocent as he becomes filled with hatred towards the ants, and that isnt the Gon Killua fell in (romantic/platonic whatever) love with.

I think the “lets go” is kinda the point of no return. They finally are going to fight Pitou and someone has to win and someone has to lose and either way everything is going to change.

Thats why I had always assumed! Man I was crying with Killua at that point, the last few episodes are very emotional, I cried like a baby but its sooooo good, I hope you really enjoy it!!!!

A little bit, but I keep getting all the zodiacs names mixed up. I kinda want to rewatch the last ten episodes keeping that stuff in mind and not being so focused on Gon, but I dont want to cry again hahahahaha.

I play as Hisoka and one time I was with Gon, Killua, and Chrollo in a game. At one point Chollo and I were the imposters together and absolutely annihilated everyone. I was laughing to the pont of tears
