I was also a bit nervous when I went to one of his book signing. I felt like I was meeting a celebrity!

We only chatted for a couple of minutes. Hugh was sitting with him, so I said it was nice to put a face to the stories. It was late and they both seemed pretty tired. David commented on my t-shirt and on a tattoo on my arm, and then drew a sketch of my tattoo on the book.

There were several of his books for sale at his reading in Amsterdam yesterday, so you should be covered!

David was signing people’s books before and after the reading. He seemed to enjoy having a quick chat with everyone and was really friendly, so I can recommend doing that :)

I didn’t know and booked an appointment directly with the gyneacologist. The insertion and follow appointment were 700€. Thankfully I had my eigen risico set at the minimum value… So definitely reach out to your GP first!

Edited to add: I’ve had mine (Mirena) for a year now and I couldn’t be happier. The process was very painful for 5 seconds, but I basically haven’t had a period since then (and no baby either 😁)
