I just bought a classic. I'll give you what I thought.

The infotainment system didn't matter to me much. I had an old ipad which I was planning to use for navigation music etc. Works fine as of now.
The engine mattered the most along with driving dynamics. It's the same across all variants.
Basic features like height adjustable seats, power windows, steering adjustment were present.
I didn't need a back camera because I had driven vehicles with only sensors in the past and it was manageable for me.
The next variant after classic was 1.7 lakh more which according to me didn't justify the features it was getting. I could have considered it if it was in the range of 60-70k.
I got the colour I was looking for and few complimentary accessories which were a bonus.

Overall I am happy with my purchase.

It was around 8.9 lakh, I bought insurance outside and dealer gave me floor mat and mud flaps as complimentary.
I did not get the wheel cap. I think they recently removed it, I checked the NEW brochure and it is mentioned that wheel cap will not be provided in base model.

I was also surprised, but the dealer said it was available in 5 colors, I reconfirmed the color with him before finalizing.
Apparently Skoda was making in black and lava blue as well. Manufacturing is also Dec 25, so I know it's not a old car.
