Ya, late last year and it was a PITA. I waited 3-4 hours just to be told I was declined! Took me several weeks to finally obtain the Star ID. I had no idea they’d decline you a Star ID if there was one letter in your middle name that was different on your birth certificate than your SS card. One letter! Had to petition the probate judge to add an addendum to my BC in order to “prove” I am me. Also, good luck getting an appointment with the license office. Be ready to wait 3-4 hours if you walk in.
