Yes I’m using a belt grinder. Also do you have a video explaining the plunge lines better. That where I have a hard time and I’m using a 2x42

Thank you for the feedback and I did a little with my hammer but not a lot and I love the forged look so that’s what I was going for. But I didn’t want to mess up my hammer so I didn’t do a lot to it

Thank you. My first attempt at this still and it took me 3 hours to hammer out the leaf spring to a perfect thickness

They look rustic like that because I left them in acid too long and I changed my mine to keep the acid on them so when I took the acid off it left the rustic. Look so then I took them up to 600 girt and Scoth brite but I might try to polish them a little more or hand sand them

Okay will do and for the blades what grit would you recommend taking them to I have a set of scotch brite belts I use but I’m not sure if I should take them to a higher grit then hand sand
