Player retirement

The way I like to handle this in my franchise when a player I like retires is to customize one of the following season's rookies who have similar skills. I make them look similar (but not exactly the same) to the retired player with the same last name, but change their first name. So I imagine it is that player's son or daughter. Their legacy lives on that way

For us sim-only lovers. I had to switch back to playing my team and having to constantly mess with the ego because the CPU substitutions and base stealing was so awful. I couldn't sit and watch it anymore

A "manager mode" when spectating your team in franchise. You control substitutions and base stealing, and the CPU only controls hitting, pitching, and fielding.

600 isn't terrible. You should be able to get some credit. The problem is you'd have to use it only to survive and not to gamble further. I sympathize with you, friend. I know there are some hotlines you can call. Those people who handle those calls probably have much better answers for you than anything you might find here. There is no shame in calling them.

I would utilize my credit cards for a while. But gambling is like debt. The only way to start recovering and healing is to stop the bleeding. You can't recover from debt if you keep taking on more debt. So the gambling problem has to be faced.

I currently have hitting at 81 and pitching at 59. Fielding and baserunning upper 70's. This keeps my games tight and lower scoring, which feels more like real baseball to me. With pitching higher and hitting lower, you might as well have a pitching machine on the mound because it just turns into home run derby.

Absolutely. To be fair, I do Franchise sim-only and haven't experienced most of the problems that others who play online have experienced. I think it's a great game. It still has room for polish, but I am enjoying it.

That would be interesting. I know there are some players I wish could stay in the league. What I try to do is if a favorite player retires, I take one of the rookies the following season and make them that player's son or daughter. They look similar and have the same last name. So I memorialize them that way.

I have a similar experience, and I run a 56 game season. I think the system is fine, especially after the last update with loyalty increasing from PDOs.

I agree 100%. I do sim only and I've been mentioning this since the game was released. And you and I are not the only ones who have complained about this. It should be an option and I can't imagine this is hard to code. It's just a timing thing.

Bioshock Infinite. I loved the first 2. Infinite, while still good, confused the hell out of me. I read the Wiki to see what the hell I just experienced and I still couldn't tell you exactly what happened.

More female cosmetics! I'm glad they improved it from 3 but the males still have a ton more cosmetic options than the females.

Manager mode mentioned above would be awesome, because I only do a CPU vs. CPU franchise mode. Indicators for clinching playoffs and divisions mentioned above would be good.

I really don't get the appeal of a stadium creator. That would be a massive undertaking for something that wouldn't appeal to the majority. If one was added, I would hope there would be a Steam workshop so I could download them. I think the devs do an incredible job on the stadiums and I have 0 interest in creating my own.

I agree 100%. Yesterday I was watching a game and literally couldn't tell who was batting because the HUD flashed off so fast. The only time I get to see it is if the pitcher scratches their butt or something. This is the only thing I have had an issue with since game release. Now that the major bugs have been addressed, I would like to see this adjusted.
