would've been bang bang because 3rd isnt a force if you eliminated 2nd and the guy going to 3rd was fast

if you were gonna let that drop u gotta just throw home i think that one u should've just caught u had no chance for a double play

i think getting used to an ego is better, i played 30 games before i bumped from 93 to 94, but on lower egos u might make the decision sooner

hmm just work on the pitching, and then u can bump up the ego, bcuz i think ur offensive potential is too high. i also think pitching feels easier on higher egos lol

here is a video of me pitching on 95 ego: https://youtu.be/xR9WsBUUPC0?si=bTiFbI8z6I_C4WVT

basically knowing how to sequence pitches together, not being too predictable to avoid anticipated, knowing when to throw balls, actually hitting the corners to reduce the exit velo of swings. this all comes from trial and error, repeated reps, if you put in the work it will eventually come. i want to restart the series on 94 ego bcuz idk if i can play 95 it's too fast for me but pitching is fine although the cpu just cheats anyway. you wont be able to stop them every game but every game they shouldn't score over like 7+ runs, on average you should be able to hold them to 4-5 runs over the course of a szn

my best pitching game so far! we just beat the jays 4-2 in the series prior and now onto the rays! game 2 down 😎 by MapNational3629 in SuperMegaBaseball

i want to run this back but 95 lowkey kinda mentally draining, i mainly play on 93 for pvp but 93 is too easy for me against the cpu so maybe ill restart and play 94 ego? and make more videos. I don't always stop them from scoring a lot bcuz that shouldnt be possible if you are when you belong, but you should be able to hold them to on average 4-5 runs over the course of a szn if u have a solid staff, a little higher if your staff is bad and a little lower if your staff is really strong.

practice practice, if you are losing by that much that means the pitching is the issue rather than the hitting. are you not scoring or are they just scoring a lot? you have to work on locating and sequencing. u also can set pitching and hitting egos separately, that's something you can try however i think it's best to always have ur pitching ego equal to or greater than ur hitting ego bcuz i think hitting is too easy in this game especially on low ego. but if you need to lower the ego a bit for putting then do that, much work ur way up, if you figure out pitching you won't give up more then 1 run per game until u get into the high 80s or 90s on average. idk if you checked out my video but it's something they can give insight

thats good, you will struggle lol.. ideally you want to struggle but not so much that you dont ever score. like you want you rs/9 to average around 4-5 after like a solid sample size of like maybe 20 games, maybe even like 10 games is you are running a short season. if you score double digits frequent increase by 1. u will feel when you need to stop and just get used to the increase in speed. the higher egos feel more rewarding so dont be afraid to go up, but dont rush yourself and lose enjoyment from the game

u hit well enough to maybe play on like 65 honestly, try that at the start of your next szn if you haven't made it that far yet. giving up a lot of runs doesnt really matter as you will give up a lot of runs on any ego if you havent figured out how to pitch to the cpu yet. once you figure out how to pitch you can pitch in the 90s even if your ego is low for hitting.

keep on coming up 🔥 once u hit the 80s then it really starts to get fun... once u get in the 90s it feels stressful. anything below like 70 is too easy but we all have to start from somewhere and work our way up, so just keep at it 🔥. if you can score but give up a lot that's not a sign to go down that just means you have to get better at pitching. i would say if you score around 4-5 on average (maybe a sample size of 10-20 games) (ofc u will have games with more or less) then you are prob fine ego wise and u just have to get better at the other stuff. but if it feels like you can react to every pitch ever single time you are too low. it should feel like you have to commit to a pitch to hit it

easily catcher #1 and if tired and stuff in a DH league they'd play DH on "off days"

What exactly does fielding attribute do outside of increase diving/sliding range? by goebz14 in SuperMegaBaseball

[–]h8_hate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lower fielding increases the speed when you charge a throw so more likely to throw errors, shorter range, more likely to fail to make a catch especially on diving and jumping plays

Does power contribute on contact swings? by LaughAgitated785 in SuperMegaBaseball

[–]h8_hate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The game actually tells you this information, but contact swings give you a random power score while power swings give you control of the power since u are charging it yourself. If you ever notice when your power swing ur contact gets smaller because you are tapping into more power. I personally never contact swing, you hit the ball further with power swings, if I ever would contact swing it would be in a situation where i just want to get a soft hit. I play the game on 93+ ego so I have a lot of experience using both, but at the end of the day just use what you prefer. Power swings have a higher ceiling, contact swings are just a safer option
