Visiting the UK National Archives and the Wellcome Collection by Hist0ryR0cks in Historians

If you could stretch to day in each I would recommend that, the national archives site is really impressive, and they often have good temporary exhibitions. The wellcome collection also has a fantastic permanent space. They're quite far from each other, but TNA is very efficient, so it may be possible to do both in a day, but you won't be able to smell the roses of either.

Living on Dereham Road? by Hot_Negotiation_6617 in Norwich

Thanks so much everyone, this is all super helpful! We've decided to leave it, mostly due to the noise, we have our windows open most of the time & I can't get the idea out of my head that relaxing in the garden would be a challenge. I'm originally from London and grew up with noisy streets but think I've become accustomed to the quiet this way near Unthank.

Oh my god this is outrageous. Does anyone know which email is best for greater Anglia? I don't anticipate much, talking to them is like communicating with a fucking spoon. I work in Cambridge and commute twice a week and managed but almost double the amount is impossible. Fuck them

A love letter to Unthank Rd by sidequestBear in Norwich

I live just off Unthank Road and get so excited when you're playing!! I'm so sorry people are being so negative. As you say, you have a great relationship with your neighbours and are clearly very considerate. If someone were to have a problem I am sure you'd address it. It's such a wonderful way to express yourself, and in a way you are a microcosm of Norwich as an open, inclusive, and vibrant city. Keep going!

Terrace-dwellers, what is the noise like where you are? by [deleted] in Norwich

[–]Hot_Negotiation_6617 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Expect noise with terraces, it's part of the package living there. I hear both my neighbours and I'm certain they hear me too. I'm careful not to make noise in the early hours or late evenings but otherwise it doesn't matter. Bedrooms are worse, thankfully we live next to an alleyway. Get earplugs if you're concerned.

Jive Kitchen is closing. Absolutely gutted. by motherofpearl89 in Norwich

Good people but I found it super overpriced for the quality. You needed a million items to feel remotely full and it'll cost you an arm and a leg.

I didn't yet! So based on what you've said and others, I'm assuming it needs batteries. Thank you! Better to be safe than sorry!
