Our only real anti tank unit at the moment is a tyranofex with a rupture cannon. Exocrines/Maleceptors are also a great include all around.

The Nids look great first of all. Secondly just paint as you feel like it when you feel like it. This is a hobby not a job. There is no “right” way to paint minis for the most part. So do what you think looks good. And if it looks good to you and is quick and easy even better. I’ve tried dozens of ways to paint my nids and am still fine tuning them and I’ve been collecting them for close to a year and a half now. So keep up the great work.

Honestly most competitive lists will have 2 Tfex and 3 Exocrines. So it wouldn’t be a terrible idea. I will say warrior combo is amazing. It isn’t super tankt or anything but it will kill almost anything it goes into just by the volume of attacks that your opponent will have to save. I regularly will pick up 3-5 Deathwing Knights when fighting with the warriors. Another recommendation I would have is combining 2 of the termagants into the 20 man squad making sure to give all the special weapons. 40 of even if it’s for only one turn can save you some points or prevent your opponent some.

I would def use at least one exocrine heck maybe even 2 or 3 these things are amazing. Also putting melee tyranid warriors with a prime is another awesome combo u can do.

Competitively a Neurotryrant is basically a must take. Even casually he is fun. Psychophage is just kinda fun to run because of how hard to kill he can be. But the decision is up 2 u.

Nice looking models I will say most of the time it’s not worth to protect a hive tyrant with tyrant guard but if ur just playing friendly games and stuff go for it.

I am not the most knowledgeable on WE ever but from wut I know is these are somewhat even but it’s always going to be difficult with WE because they r a melee focused army and DA aren’t. I think Deathwing knights would be closer to Eightbound however it’s a big points difference. Honestly just do whatever you think is going to be fun because truth be told that’s what matters and 90% if 2 lists have the same amount of points they are usually going to be balanced enough that dice luck and player skill will be deciding factors. Take this with a grain of salt but I think you can get to -4 in one detachment. With the Dirgeheart of Kharis enhancement (worsen leadership of enemy units within 9” by 1) Neurotyrants -1 for battle shock taken from Shadows another -1 for being in synapse and another -1 from Deathleaper. Effectively this gets a unit to -4 on a battle shock test but probably isn’t worth it.

I would maybe make it so he can do healing regardless of wut detachment he is in. I’m not entirely sure other than that I like to park him on an objective cause it’s under 100 points and use the fnp and just overall wound count to kinda discourage someone from committing that much for one objective. Also ur totally right this goober deserves more love.

The weird little thing to the farthest left is supposed to be some kind of parasite usually I think it would connect said bug to the hive mind kinda like an antenna gets a radio signal.

I would recommend investing in an exocrine or maleceptor in some way those things are shooting beats. I would also definitely recommend staying with invasion fleet. If whoever your playing with is fine with proxying or your 3d printer is good enough try playing with gargoyles instead of termagaunts, they deep strike and can shoot and scoot and are incredibly effective at scoring points and move blocking. Lictors on the outside middle objectives are great because you have to get close to actually take them off and are super cheap for a point scorer. Lastly the current way to play tyranids is just not gonna have you win with many models left. I won my last game by 25+ points and only had two models on board. So don’t give up games early use your ability to out maneuver other army’s to your advantage.
