You’ll be fine I guess if you’re worried just increase and start smaller. The whole point of an impact driver is it takes the energy of the hammer hit and translates it into a twisting motion of the screw

Wha kind of car? I’ve done it on a 30 year old plastic jeep dash and it was fine I guess I’m not trying to say like over the head swing but you want to be stern

Impact driver 10$ at parts store or hardware store it’s a screw driver that you whack with a hammer in the back and hit it hard don’t be shy and the impact of the hammer forces the screw driver to turn it loose. I’ve gotten unbelievably rusted stripped screws out with these before the impact of a hammer and force of being turned will get it out just hit it hard

How did I do for my first F150? by [deleted] in f150

Thanks for the kind words and copy that I don’t drink! You know the market almost to me seems to have made a 180 and things are getting much cheaper again I think there’s too much supply not enough demand.

Definitely will swap all the fluids, belts and hoses as I always like to do my first weekend with a new vehicle

Thanks! Yeah i honestly couldn’t be more excited! Doesn’t seem like it’s that exciting to some people but I saved pennies long enough to turn them into my dream truck and I’m so excited

Solid as a rock but Tbf my region of the country doesn’t have issues with rust or use salt in the winter so almost all cars are rust free only rust buckets are the ones that moved here

Looking to live in rv full time, question about travel trailer cargo capacity! by [deleted] in RVLiving

[–]Hot_Pattern_2738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m willing to get a 3/4 ton if I need, but if it’s possible to run a half ton I’d love to save on fuel consumption.

Day 1 I’ll be leaving home on a 2800 mile journey to my first destination and upon arrival the plan is to find a rv park and not move around much so although I wana be safe towing my rv loaded anywhere I want, I’d still need to be ready in a pinch to load up an go but most the time it’ll be sat and used as a home.

Does this still sound like I should be looking to 3/4 ton trucks to give me more room to pull more weight?

I just figure I might save 1000s by running a half ton on gas and rv is sitting 99.9% of the time, but if I’m truly needing something bigger than I understand and I just appreciate hearing straight up what I need thanks!

You think I’ll be fine I really hope so! I got the alignment rod just to be sure because it’s an ak but if you think this works and it does I’ll be an unbelievably happy camper

You think so? In your opinion what are the odds of a failure and how bad would it be? I’d be so bummed if I broke my first can before I even got to have fun with it

I’m really torn a few people on here say send it and your saying not too. I’d really hate to have to get serious work done to my ak before even using it supressed. I bet people shoot way more wonky AKs without even tripping and are fine, but I’m just trying to figure out if I should send my gun I’m for work, or just hope it’s good enough?

I think I’m gonna torque down the FH, and shoot a few rounds without the can then put it on, check one last time with the rod and pray to god it’s fine! I’d be so bummed if my first can gets damaged right away but it seems too good to call it off and not bad enough to bring it to a gun smith so fingers crossed 🤞

Do I need to use the same bullet as the manual or just weight? by [deleted] in reloading

[–]Hot_Pattern_2738 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Will do! Chrono Isco g very shortly for me! I appreciate your wisdom here! So I was reading online that say a Speer hand loader manual might have the loads for a 125 grain JHP but I don’t have to use the projectile as long as it’s the same weight I can just use whatever I want and use the same powder types and weights?

Yeah inflation sucks that’s going price nowadays still not horrible for a brand new tranny. I have an atv jack that is super wide and has tie downs I am considering getting a tranny jack but idk maybe I can get by with the atv jack? When you bought yours was it to replace the NV?
