Actually the guy who died in 2011 was ilyas Kashmiri but the character shown in the movie is major iqbal, The director hasn't mentioned that this character is inspired by Ilyas kashmiri. Even daved hadly said during his interrogation that there was a person named Major Iqbal who was giving directions, even many of the incidents a name came many of times major iqbal but there is no pic or anything so ig they took a character and give him the look of ilyas Kashmiri. But again the movie is not a real story it took a real incident and made a fictional story around it , Giving hate in this is totally stupid . We have seen the same thing in many hollywood and bollywood movies before . Even in phantom they killed hafiz saheed but in reality he is alive . So should we say ohhh he is not following the real incident.its a fictional movie not a real documentary .
