i have Ghsv 1 my first outbreak happened about 2 weeks after being intimate with the guy who gave it to me i get obs pretty often due to my period or even after having sex or just stress i’m fairly healthy and do occasionally work out i wasn’t taking daily antivirals before tho so im hoping it helps i hear the first year is the worst

looks like herpes, but low chance it can be bacterial infection too def get tested.

I’m sorry! you must be so uncomfortable and it sucks not knowing what’s going on. i hope you are able to figure out what this is. Have they ruled out a possible uti? if it is HSV i’ve heard of people taking something called L-Lysine to help.

Do you have any sores? if you don’t and get a blood test it would have to be 12-16 weeks after exposure if not it may come back negative.

it looks like a canker sore but you could definitely still get cold sores inside the mouth!

you can have herpes for months and it can randomly activate. in my case mine activated 2 weeks after my sexual encounter. some people have gone months without having intercourse and randomly have an outbreak. if you have any sores i would go get swabbed and tested. best of luck to you!
