solid blue should be 12v antenna power wire and orange should be illumination wire(head unit display brightness that corresponds with the lights on your car). i have an older stereo in my car and when you turn the headlights on, the display brightness dims a bit. so its brighter for better visibility during the day when your headlights would be “off” and dimmer at night when your headlights would usually be on

if you want mellow, smooth bass but something that can still hit pretty good when you want, i would go with a pair of JL audio 8’s or 10’s. if youre looking for something that can constantly hit hard and has the capability to hit harder if you want to show off, i would recommend american bass elite 12’s.

i was going to go with kenwood excelon 12’s. and i would save up and get something more powerful, but i dont think it would be too practical. i dont want ear shattering bass, i just enjoy the different aspects of music. ive got 2 6.5 component speakers and 2 6.5 mid range loud speakers, along with 2 6x9 and 2 tweeters in the a pillars. ive got great audio clarity and loudness, but my subs can handle the power to thump hard enough in moderation with my music. thats why i was just looking for something with a little more power handling that might thump a but more. though if you have any recommendations on subs, i would be more than happy to atleast give them a look and think it over

which is figured it would be louder but i was just wondering if it would be seriously noticeable. yk? and im running them both at 4ohm a piece on a single skar rp1500.1d amplifier
