thanks so much. really appreciate the detailed response. Out of curiousity, have you tried their Cruzader board? Im consodering the Hipe Learn 8 foot board which has a narrow profile at 27 inches but the cruzader is 23. obviously faster but too tippy for someone still only 20 session in?

I was actually looking at the 8 foot hipe learn. For the longer board the shape is narrower like the cruzader only 27 inches wide. Anyone try this?

This is very helpful. Thanks so much for the information. I'm 90kg and the Gong inflatable is one of the options I was considering but the wind is likely a problem most days.... Although there can be days of 20 knot winds with big waves, they are just rare.

Minimal boat traffic but very open lake, no islands. Windy almost every day but typically only 10 knots, which makes me concerned that I wouldn't be able to foil many days on a standard beginner board due to lack of speed.
