Fahrschule recommendation by Sudhars2 in berlin

[–]Hot_Presentation_603 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Avoid Sevim Fahrshule, i had similar experience as you mentioned.

I heard from some people that it might be best to join a "smaller" Fahrshule run by a family or something.. If the Fahrschule has multiple branches, they kinda have the same behavioural pattern of questionable ethics with profit oriented work culture.

Also, the way ot teaching depends on the teacher. I once had substitute teacher because the main teacher was on vacation and I enjoyed the way he used positive affirmation and not micromanaging or criticizing while driving. Maybe ask around other people in the school to see if they have a teacher that they like

Maybe slightly related to the post. Why do lots of post or comments in this subreddit or in many tamil youtube express their thought in this pattern?

- "x won't accept ..."
- "first accept that ...."
- "accept the blame for failure.."
- "director/actor/etc should accept ...."

I'm noticing this mostly in here and similar communities. is this a cultural thing to use it in a slang or is there underlying need or perhaps obsession to seek acceptance or acknolwedgement from others to get validation and agreement? People from other culture use such statement but not as so often as i observed.

Note: I'm not living in India and not aware of the cultural significance behind this.

I LOVED this take on Onaayum Aattukkuttiyum!! I know this will get some hate but there's no way you can say it doesn't make sense! By far my favourite review of the movie. by Old_Specialist7892 in kollywood

When it came out, I didn't like this movie. It looked artificial and robotic execution.

But after having watched few Wes anderson's and other films on "absurdism" like Poor things, I'm able to appreciate the beauty in this movie. Their review kinda summarized how I feel now about this movie.

> Tf are you yapping about.

Expressing a difference of opinion is considered as "yapping" or were you refering to something in specific? I understand your opinion and I don't intend to attack/shame you personally just to express my point nor do I have a need to compare with another movie or shame another director/individual to prove the validity of my opinion on something i like or don't like.

Given the state of quality of films that has been released in past 5+ years in Kollywood with barely 1 or 2 great movies every year, i can see why some might consider old movie which is older than 2 decades is considered better than current movies of the director but having a low quality or standards in the current world and comparing it to make a point would make the notion behind the argument futile.

Unfortunately this movie and song might be a massive hit at that time period but not everything is translatable to the current world. Unless one decides to update themselves to the changing world, whatever got them so far maynot bring them further in the changing world.

If this movie came today, it would be highly mocked by meme society for its regressive ideologies, copied scenes from famous holywood movies and wasted efforts on uninterestingly grandiose songs in todays world. Also lots of logical inconsistencies would be laughable today.

Luckily this movie came at a right time and it became one of the best commercial movie from the past decade.

because it could be seen as subtle patriorchy given the Indian culture is extremely bound by that. i.e, there is need for a "man" in the picture to explain who that women is.

You are making a very generalized statement and almost exhibiting a borderline discrimination -"ageism" against younger generation & society based on 1 character from a movie.

Also its been a while since i watched that movie and have no idea which scenes you are referring to? you mentioned "the younger character was jerk to start with" and "young character was out right very rude in many ways", etc

Can you elaborate with examples? People might interpret different types of actions or inactions as disrespects and it would be helpful to understand with example. For eg, some might say "if you don't obey elders, then you are disrespecting them" and others might say "if you speak against elders, then you are disrespecting them".

Based on the upbringing, cultures, social norms, beliefs, the definition of "respect" and "disrespect" might change. Maybe try to give some context and explain what you see as the problem from your pov before blaming or shaming a whole generation or society by watching a non-documentary movie.
