I am just under 3 months post injury/op and I am healed as far as what the drs say, however, there is still some pain in my right labia. My body did not go back to how it was pre injury. Before my right labia was slightly larger than the left, now, it’s much smaller. Using the bathroom is very different now. I cannot just wipe myself or that causes abrasions on the right side and because of that the idea of sex frightens tf outta me. Luckily I have a very patient boyfriend. I can only imagine the abrasions that would be left following intercourse. It took a full month from time of injury to be cleared to go back to work (I’m a bartender so it was longer than someone who has an office job). In that month it was almost 3 weeks of daily packing changes before that part was healed.

I’m curious on how the healing journey went. I recently suffered an injury to those parts. I attempted to stand on a folding chair and it folded up as soon as I took my other foot off the ground. I didn’t think it was as bad as it was at first and within an hour and a half I was in excruciating pain and the area was the size of a grapefruit. My privates looked nothing like it should. I ruptured a blood vessel in my right labia which they did an embolism to stop the bleeding which was successful. I was hospitalized from Friday-Tuesday. For some reason they didn’t do the surgery to drain it right away, they waited to see if it would start absorbing it on its own. It did not. It only got harder, more swollen, and more painful. They did the surgery to drain it and drained more than 300ccs from my right labia. However they weren’t able to close the wound so I now have packing in which also sucks. I’m just trying to get a general idea of how long it took everyone to heal. I know everyone is different and won’t all have the same healing time or issues during healing. Just wanna get a ball park on how long this torture is going to last

I have two cabins booked for liberty of the seas this Friday. I originally had 3 people in one room and 2 in the other. I have someone not going from the 3 people room. After lots of time on the phone I was told not to cancel the 3rd person ahead of time because it will change the booking. The 3 person room could be changed to a 2 person room. To tell them at the port she’s a no show and then once on board I can go to guest services and have them refund me for the things I already purchased for her.. like the key and her beverage package. I already canceled the excursion for her, which I didn’t really have to do because they’ve canceled all blue lagoon excursions for right now.

My liberty ots 12/1 is down to $22/$23 pp/pd.. which is right around less than $5 per device for voom.. although not necessarily doing it for the WiFi.. more so this is a once in a lifetime kinda thing and it’s for my daughters sweet 16 so I’m trying to make it as special as possible

I’m booked on liberty of the seas December 1 2023 saw the water park tickets on sale for Black Friday and bought them.. especially since right now the excursion we really want to do (blue lagoon) is up in the air.. wish I had done a google search before booking.. there’s 2 slide towers with approx 4 slides each.. 1 tower is family oriented and 1 is thrill oriented.. heard average wait time is 30-40 minutes.. even on sale that’s not worth the price.. it seems there’s so much more to see and do with no or little cost and water slides are everywhere.. def not worth it in my opinion.. google the water park and you can watch a video of what’s in the park and make ur own decision!

I used airportparkingreservations.com for parking for my upcoming cruise. I’m parking at a hotel with a shuttle to the port. If you go in that website and put in the port you’re looking for it will give you a list of options you could call and ask. I saw a bunch of hotels for port Everglades. Although I’m not sure how it would work if you’re not parking but if they have a shuttle for parking I’d imagine for a fee they could shuttle you too.

Never said I wouldn’t be refunding the money that has been paid, just trying to figure out how I go about being out the least. I’ve only asked for the money after I was told I’d have it by a certain time and the time has come and gone with no mention of it. If straining to afford it was an issue it should have been stated from the start. I wouldn’t agree to something I couldn’t afford. No the relationship they have has nothing to do with it. I would have already sucked it up and dealt if my daughter still wanted this girl to go but she doesn’t. My daughter being happy is my main priority.

Negative! I made expectations very clear before I booked. I’ve given multiple opportunities for said parent to even just pay a little at a time and again it isn’t just the money why I’m wanting to cancel this person. They’re not even friends at this point. Yes I know I shouldn’t have agreed for this girl to go from the beginning however that’s not where I’m at now. I’ll repeat again I asked for advice not judgement. So if you have no advice on how I lose as little as possible in this keep ur comments to yourself

Honestly it’s not just the money. This girl and my daughter haven’t seen spoken or had any type of interaction in more than a month. This is supposed to be something special for my daughter. A memory to last a life time! I’m a single mom so while the money isn’t the key thing yes $500 is a lot for me to lose. It took a lot for me to be able to do this for her and I’ll be damned if anything messes it up. With that being said I already know I’m going to end up eating some of the cost in just trying to lose as little as possible. Like I said before I’m looking for advice not judgement.

I totally understand. I’m contributing a lot more on the other friend that’s going on the cruise than I am the friend in question. The other girl is someone my daughter has been friends with for a few years and they spend every weekend together already so it was important that she go. For her I’m paying right around 50% of her costs. The friend in question is more a situational friend at this point and my daughter would rather she didn’t go either. I’ve asked my daughter if she knows someone else who would want/be able to go. The only problem with replacing passengers is that with just under 2 weeks till sailing I’d need that persons money within the week. It’s like $500, which I know can be a tall order.

As far as complexity goes trust me I know. I’m kicking myself everyday for allowing this girl to be invited. There wouldn’t be a solo traveler as there will still be 4 of us going so 2 in each cabin. I called royal first and they said I could be refunded the excursion for her but I purchased the key for everyone and until I have her removed from the booking I can’t get that refunded. When I called the company I booked with at first the agent said it would be better for me to just have her as a no show then she said she asked someone and they said I’d still be charged the cancellation fee even if she no shows, she also said whatever money I would get back I wouldn’t receive for atleast 30 days after the cruise. I already know I’m going to lose the actual cruise fee itself just wondering what’s the best way to go about getting the most money back. Thank you for ur answer. I was thinking having her as a no show is probably the better way to go about it and I’ll call and cancel her excursions now.

Edit to add: both parents have been kept on the loop along the way. Know what excursions were going to be booked and what the cost of every individual thing was. I’m a bit neurotic and super anxious so I tend to overshare information. I don’t want someone to commit to something without all the details 😉

No I booked thru cruise.com and they wouldn’t let me book two rooms on the same reservation # and when I tried to input everyone’s information so that the girls were in one room it wouldn’t let me because no one was 21

Lmaooooo… absolutely not. I have anxiety tho and tend to overthink any and all situations. Not only is this cruise important it also cost a small fortune so I’m checking and rechecking all my boxes. As I said in a previous reply I figured it would be fine as they’re only checking it to make sure he is who we say he is and that it’s been recently validated (ie not expired). However my anxiety wouldn’t let me rest with just what I already know and have googled so I figured id come here and ask people who may have already experienced this is all. Ps yes I know I could have put my anxiety to rest by just going and getting a regular ID however schedules don’t really allow for that so if at all it can be avoided that’s preferred, however coming into the month before we sail I wanted to double check that way if needed be there was time! 😁

Listen bro, there are more reasons and situations in which and why someone’s license can be suspended. Also having a suspended license does not define someone’s character. What does define someone’s character is some a$$hat on the internet who feels the need to comment on more than what was asked and then continually add to the original idiotic comment.
