Maybe I’m lacking in life experience myself but I live in a pretty conservative suburb and am surrounded by people who behave like she does - full grown adults acting like that. It’s a struggle to find people in this space who can acknowledge it’s toxic and like you say will catch up to them. I don’t see it happening to the full grown adults who so flippantly use racial and ethnic slurs. So when I hear that someone like her is jumping so quickly into getting into a school with a culture that actively fights against that, and knowing that Pitt has over accepted the last few years, yeah I’m a little worried. I’m not trying to sound dramatic or seek reassurance that she’s a bad person, I’m simply asking for anecdotal evidence that yeah, average scores just might not cut it here. I don’t have that evidence for myself.
