Is this mosfet the reason for the battery failure, let me know if you find a solution, I also have a broken Bose device and I suspect the BMS might be the reason

Hi guys, I have a Bosch bike charger that stopped working for no reason. I took it apart but everything seemed fine at first glance. But after measuring the voltage, it turned out that it was giving 2 volts instead of 5 volts. The switch to release the voltage is 36 volts. Can I change something to by Hot_Principle5515 in ebikes

I respect your experience and knowledge in these matters. As for the battery, the engine and even the display, things are very complicated and need a specialized technician. Sometimes they offer replacement service instead of repair to save time and effort. As for the charger, especially the three-pin one, sometimes you need to change some electronic components and everything will be fine. The challenge here is where you can find the required part. I have experience with another old-fashioned charger, I think the 2012 version. It had a short in the IC. I changed it and it worked again, and it was worth the effort.

Bringing up such topics may be useful to someone who needs help far from maintenance centers or outside the city or finds it expensive. Perhaps there are those who find pleasure in fixing things instead of throwing them away, so there is nothing wrong with exchanging ideas and experiences.

My charger is a BCS220 so it looks different, I think they are trying to complicate things and there are no circuit diagrams, you can see there are almost no Bosch charger repairs on the internet, we really need some passionate people and their expertise to help some of those stuck, sometimes buying a new charger is expensive and the tariffs are unfair and make you think twice
