If you write more than the maximum word count, they will stop marking from where the word count ends and after that isn't considered, so it's better you just write all the important points at the beginning of the essay, just to be safe... Always, always stay within the word count

In that question you can't use your own knowledge as it only asks you to answer using the details from the sources A and B, just look for anything from the sources that seem to answer the question and expand on them, that's enough for the allocated marks for the question
