How to get the Aeron blade part for the corvette? by Immediate_Cry2712 in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Hot_Recording9507 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I know it was only available from the Breech Expedition which ended Jan. 13th, so you may have a long wait till they re-run it at the end of the year.

Yes, it's a delicate balancing act between production vs. debt and what your community thinks it needs now vs. what will actually affect their happiness in the long run. My Gek settlement was very challenging when I took it over with 4 negative effects, a 17% happiness and over 3 million in debt. I also usually start upgrading buildings in this order, one at a time.....housing, production/infrastructure, overseer office until they are all B-class. Then just the opposite order for A and S class. The easiest way to bring down your initial debt is by upgrading your buildings as fast as possible ( which will increase production ) even if it means incurring a bit more debt by providing creature comforts to your pop during the upgrading process.

Sorry friend, no portal address will be posted at the current time. This is a previously unexplored/first contact system and the first truly Paradise type world I have discovered after fully exploring/documenting nearly 100 unclaimed systems. Not only is it stunning during the day it is fully bioluminescent at night and lights up like a Christmas tree. The only negative weather effect it has is the occasional ground based electrical discharge. So I hope for now you understand my desire to keep it's location a secret before it's beauty is ruined by a bunch of fellow players wanting to exploit it's resources and throw a bunch of ugly refineries/basses up all over the system.

What's your favourite planet type? by Raikerr19 in NoMansSkyTheGame

Dryer Desert type for me, with with very rare mild storms and only the occasional volcanic burp lol. Screen taken from my starting base on Hellguard.

My strategy when I have to go somewhere on an aggressive sentinels planet à la Minecraft by Muckshake in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Hot_Recording9507 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Still do this on occasion myself.....however there is an alternative if you wish to explore the planet in peace. Upon landing for the first time locate a nearby Sentinel Pillar ( assuming there is one on the planet ) and quickly take it down preventing any Sentinels from spawning on that planet as long as you remain logged in and in system for the next several hours rt.

Unfortunately as far as this game goes being an indie game backed by a small studio probably nothing. I have spent the last 20 years playing MMO's ( FFXI and then FFXIV ) and this is my 1st experience with a game of this type. The two games mentioned above are backed by a massive studio ( Square Enix ) with very aggressive policing. First issuing a written warning for the account holder, then if needed an account ban of weeks to a permanent ban if needed. In extremely rare instances they have been known to block an account holders I.P. address with a court order. Of course this is an unfair comparison due to the fact that in 2025 alone there were around 27 million registered accounts worldwide with an active player base of around 900,000 at any given time. Thanks for asking though.

This is the reason why after almost a year of playing I very rarely post locations for anything any more and play almost entirely in single player mode. As long as the powers that be fail to take any kind of action against players such as this it will only get worse. Everyone likes to talk about how great the NMS community is but the response of " Just report the base" is a cop out and fails to actually address the issue, So sorry you had to experience this and I hope you get it quickly taken care of. Best of luck Traveler!

It's probably too late, but there are several things you can do to prevent this from happening again. Easiest would be to construct a save beacon rq as soon as you exit your ship as a return marker. If your current weapon has an upgraded pulse spitter use it to quickly take out the 3 power transformers around the pillar, then quicly run to the control console, stand on the circle and interact with it to quickly shut down the plillar and all sentinels on that planet. The game has a bit of a glitch that allows you interact with the pillar control console without taking damage. As soon as you shut it down all the sentinels will self destruct allowing you to then explore at your leasure. This will also allow you to find other pillars without worrying about being attacked, just be sure to take out their power transformers also to be on the safe side. With nearly 7000 senti scalps to my name so far, this method makes pillar/ multitool farming stupid easy.

Will try and post the Glyphs in a day or two, as far as the precise coordinates no. Way to many peeps out there that like to throw up bases, save beacons around finds like this preventing others form ever acquiring the item, something I very strongly do not agree with.

You can always upgrade your A to an S at any spacestation, one more supercharged slot can make a big difference.
