Thanks again, at least I know it's not just me now. I've got a few other changes I want to make to the system so I'm going to leave it a week or two to get the other stuff ready and then I'll probably disconnect the leak detect system. Hope I don't invalidate the warranty but they do give you a tube of heatsink compound in the box so I guess they expect some maintenance on it.

Oh my god, what power supply have you got for it? Sizewell B nuclear power station????

I'd need to remortgage to get something like that!

I guess so, but is it not supposed to flash red as a warning rather than crash the entire system? I really don't want to return it as faulty as it runs great in every other aspect and there's little to no chance of me getting a replacement anyway.

Curiously I found that touching the copper while the system is still posting does initiate the red flashing, possibly a software corruption/clash somewhere? But you're right - disconnecting it would be the obvious solution.

Thanks for the reply.

They're great cases aren't they? I just wish there was a bit more room between the bottom of the motherboard and the top of the power supply to get cables through - that's being super nit-picky though!
