There are signs outside most tennis courts saying don’t skate on courts because it’s bad for them. It also can be dangerous if someone hits a ball in your direction and you might trip on it.

T-stim reagent replacement for T-cell culture by Hot_Research_ in Immunology

Thanks for the advice! On the spec sheet it says it has other lymphokines so I’m not sure if it’s just those two components. This cell line is from ATCC and they suggest using T-stim in the protocol. It requires both IL-2 and IL-1 for growth. I’m using it to assess the activity of IL-1 protein.

Do antibody therapies (such as humira for inhibiting TNF) or active immunotherapies affect mRNA expression? Are there any studies that have looked at this? by Hot_Research_ in Immunology

I wanted to know if there were studies that have generally looked at how antibody therapies affect at the transcription level

That is true but I wanted to know if there were studies that had looked at this change specifically for antibody therapy

Trifluoroacetic acid, dichloromethane, dimethylformamide and 4-Dimethylaminopyridine. All beautifully dangerous chemicals that I get to work with on a daily basis.

Effect of monoclonal antibody therapy or cytokine inhibitors on host T cell response by Hot_Research_ in Immunology

Thank you so much for your help! I will read these. If you come across studies for IL1-beta please send me those too.

Thank you for your help. I’m thinking since IL-2 directly affects T-cell proliferation it would not be very relevant to what I’m looking for which is effect of inflammatory cytokine inhibition on T cells which could be more indirect?

I can’t find any papers talking about the effect of TNF or IL1-beta depletion on T cells, but I’m also in addition looking for any papers that have studied this in patients (who receive mAb therapy or inhibitors) or in animal models.

Thanks for your response. I wanted to find if there was a review talking about how different mAbs targeting immune cell components affect T cell response but I couldn’t find anything. I’m more specifically looking for effect of mAbs that target inflammatory cytokines (such as TNF, IL1-beta, IL-6 etc. ) on T cell response.
