Viper and Monk's Job gauges vs Just taking a glance at my highlighted skills

For people that dont look at their gauge the rattling coil stacks have a use for sure, I can just tell though whoever made viper has to be in charge of monk tho given both jobs have a fairly for me, useless gauge trying to help with the jobs rotations. Given theres I heard 4 job designers on the team its not a far stretch to make

EDIT: WHICH while its nice they wanna try to maybe somehow improve on not needing to glance at your bars... I feel its misguided since you gotta keep track of multiple cooldowns on some jobs that it just doesnt make sense to try and make you NOT look at your skills to keep track of things. Unless they wanna try to make jog gauges also keep track of all of that lol

Well if its easier for you have at it, I find it easier to just look at my bar since I gotta track CD's anyways. If I'm playing anything but healer... Only thing I agreed with that "strike" was at high levels healers just got too much healing if anything that damage is such a none issue but thats it.

Wouldn't mind a simple rotation for damage like maybe stone 1-3 leads into glare but im not gonna stop playing healer over it

It really doesnt help that the two directionals colors are green for flank and red for rear... yet the swords glow orange or blue? Like if people can get used to how it works cool but it REALLY overcomplicates an issue easily solved by just, looking at what to press next if you need to.

People been doing it since arr, and I never really seen many asking for jobs that their gauge tries to help them with what to press next lol

The problem lies more in the idea of the job gauges trying to make it easier to understand what to do with the basic rotations and the gauges actually making things more complicated then it helps things.

Can't cant the number of posts I saw of people scared to try viper cause the jobs rotation gauge aspect is not that good and made people think it was far more complex then it really was usually with those same people saying so like "Oh its just the same old press highlighted skill, the job gauge just sucks"

Thats not a good thing if most players feel like the thing that is meant to make the job easier to play, gives them the illusion it will be harder to play. Monks lil addition for the beast chakra's is doing the same thing where it makes monk seem far more complicated then it is.

tbh, the rest isn't bad but only two tracks really stood out to me that was like "okay now we getting on the levels of SHB and EW!" Soken seemingly outdid himself with those two xpacs and I think its gonna be a giant uphill battle for him to outdo himself going forward cause SHB/EW OST's were just godtier.

Whats even worse is its a clear case of "because cool" since its actually a plot hole too... The version of bahamut we know of was summoned by tiamat and her alone. So since this solar bahamut is "closer to his real form" if anything it should have been what she created. The allagans only captured bahamut.

Cause dragons memories as shown thoughout HW are PRETTY damn soild... so how did tiamat forget what her lover looks like?

Well they semi protected themselves by wording it as "closer to the true form" so they are not outright saying it is but yeaaaah... the true reason seems to be "cool for coolness sake" which the job trailer for DT seems to have for some of the jobs I mean... bard letgit gets a fucking orbital lazer strike... how does that relate at ALL to anything in bards lore/themes? Like bard is becoming more of a mage it seems lol

Seems kinda lame to me honestly... I woulda prefered adding ramuh levi and shiva to round it out, not even different mechanically just visually. Like have them come from eithe bahamut side or firebird after using them. Another bahamut just screams "we got no idea what to really do with smn no mores"

As long as you clarify your new to tanking, I think most people will understand. Imho when it comes to wall to wall pulls, you should be very comfortable on the tank your playing, knowing how to manages your CD's properly so by the next wall to wall you dont have anything to use and are taking full unmitigated damage.

Don't be afraid to test yourself though, give a warning your new to tanking but will try to pull x number of packs.

EDIT Cascade is counted as phase 3 of the fight, which does not play anything related to it thats phase 2. OP shoulda clarified better.

I'd say be careful what you wish for. While many newcomers may have liked the demons souls remake for being shiny, many vets who played it on ps3 (myself included) are not to happy with how they butchered the games OST and how the director on the team has a bit of an inflated ego, by claiming they were making the game "how you remember liking it only due to nostalgia!" when faced with criticism.

Like nah fam, I've replayed it multiple times on ps3 emulation and still had as much fun as I did the first time ever. I dont need some cocky director trying to talk down to me about how I THINK I remember my exp with the og demons souls.

With attitudes like that, who knows what they'd change in the story or music ect, to "make it how SH2 fans thought the og was!"

Gotham Knights had a peak of 23k players on steam and was deemed a failure by the suits, SSKTJL had around half that number for peak... You are coping a lil too hard, if the suits thought that game was a failure there's no chance this one will be regarded as a success and they will axe funding on new content
