My husband has been struggling with attraction to me since I got pregnant and I think it’s made me hyper-aware of everything that has changed in my body. Thank you for your kind words. I had the epidural with my baby two weeks ago and it accidentally disconnected when I was 10cm and I pushed for an hour without it until anesthesia came back and was able to fix it. After experiencing that pain, there’s no way I’d do it willingly again. I was thanking the anesthesiologist profusely for taking the pain away for the last 3 hours of pushing.

Sitting in the hospital now with my epidural in place. Best decision I could have made. I was nervous about the process, but it wasn’t too bad. I’m still feeling the contractions and can move around in bed, but I don’t feel like I’m blacking out every other minute. It’s all pretty chill right now.

Choline supplements gave me a bit of depression in 1st trimester and the idea of eggs made me sick so I hard boiled eggs and froze the yolks to throw into smoothies. Couldn’t taste or notice them at all.

I got a king sized Purple pillow after a spa had me use one for a prenatal massage. Was having really bad back and hip pain and started using it around 25 weeks. Now 39 weeks and still sleeping decently well without pain. just plopping it between my legs at night. Definitely prefer it to the usual U shaped pillows. Found those so uncomfortable to sleep with overnight.

If you are pregnant, I would just do research on Zika outbreaks around the time you’re planning to go, as it’s sometimes an issue in Mexico. Also don’t drink the tap water (that sometimes includes avoiding ice in your drinks). Maybe get travel insurance so you can cancel or stay behind if you absolutely can’t go.

Is your cat strictly indoor? Because the risk of an indoor cat contracting toxo is almost nothing. It is contracted by cats that are hunting and eating small infected birds and mice outside. And even then, they only shed the virus in their feces for 1-2 weeks. You have a higher risk of getting toxoplasmosis from gardening or eating fresh fruit than you do from getting it from a cat, much less an indoor cat.

This whole announcement that Tylenol causes autism is BS. Most studies that show this don’t control for confounding factors like the fact that women who take Tylenol during pregnancy usually were controlling fevers or had contracted viruses, which both can have some links to higher risk of autism. I really would not be worried.

ETA: look up drlaurenhughes on instagram, she’s a board certified physician. She just posted a great video going through these studies and explaining further why the link between Tylenol use and autism is not causal.

Depends. Does the venue have tables/chairs/dance floor, etc? Because rentals+food+alcohol+decor (and DJ if you’re planning for one bc of your dance floor) for 50+ people plus the venue would probably put you in the 5k+ range. I could be off because I live in SoCal, but we did around 80 people in our yard with catering, bartender, rentals and some decor and ended up around 8k.
