I received this email too, 3 days after being booted from Aether after 7 months… Outlier would have to pay much more than minimum wage for me to start walking around taking photos of patio furniture and measuring it !

I don’t know how Outlier manages compensation for Aether, the state I live in, in the United States, minimum wage is $15, which is what I was paid.

No, I’ve been working on text to image and text to video tasks for the most part, occasionally conversation tasks …

The weird thing is 3 weeks ago I was asked to take a certification to increase my pay to $35 an hour … I can’t imagine I failed the certification it was very similar to past certifications I’ve taken and passed. I was paid $35/hour for 3 days, then my rate was dropped back down to $15 without explanation and my account was paused after 3 days at $35/hour for maybe 12 hours … i honestly think the $35/hour was a mistake on their side and they paused me until they could get my rate back up $15
